1) STEPHAUN WALKER | COOLIDGE | OVERALL RANK: #15
Versatility is the main selling point when you look at Walker. He’s got the size, length, and mobility to guard several positions. Walker showcases good touch around the basket and is not afraid of contact. His skill set continues to develop and this is something we will continue to monitor moving forward.
2) GEORGE PERKINS | SIDWELL FRIENDS | OVERALL RANK: #23
Perkins is a stretch forward who provides adequate floor spacing but can also get buckets in the paint. He’s a good rebounder, help defender and communicator who plays with a high basketball IQ. Perkins has a high ceiling and should continue to improve as he matures both physically and mentally.
3) HASSAN MASSENBURG | NEW HOPE | OVERALL RANK: #41
Massenburg is a combo forward who can stretch the floor at a high-level. He knows how to move without the ball and is always available for dump-offs around the basket. Massenburg is an active presence on the glass who can rebound in or out of his area.
4) TYREE DAVIS | DEMATHA | OVERALL RANK: #72
Davis is yet to break out at the varsity level, but he’s shown signs of promise in grassroots settings. He is a versatile defender who plays with a tireless motor. Davis is best at running the floor and finishing around the basket. He still has a lot of untapped potential and could be an interesting late-bloomer to watch.
5) DERRICK KEY | FAIRMONT HEIGHTS | OVERALL RANK: #80
Key is a long-armed forward who plays with a high motor and competes defensively. He can guard several positions and is a productive rebounder who is best offensively when he can get out and run.
6) AMARE WIMBUSH | WISE | OVERALL RANK: #83
Wimbush is a long lanky forward who is a good athlete and a workhorse. He blocks shots and crashes the offensive glass relentlessly. One underrated aspect of Wimbush’s overall game is his passing. He has the size to see over the top of the defense and is a willing distributor of the ball.
