Best record in school history 33-1

Best start in school history 29-0

First #1 Ranking in school history

Back 2 Back State Tournament appearance for the first time

Another undefeated District season

Schramm maintains offers from University of Alabama Huntsville, Montevallo, and Tusculum. He continues to hear from both D2 and D1 programs.

"The latest programs that have reached out to Mo are Campbell University, SEMO and UT Martin," shared CHS Head Coach Reggie Tucker. "He holds offers from UAH, Tusculum and Montevallo. Heavy interest from App State, Southeastern Louisiana, Lee Univ. Presbyterian College, Univ. Of Texas Permian Basin." Mo provides leadership, scoring from all 3 levels, hard work, defense and anything else a coach needs.

Top Wings Available

[player_tooltip player_id="643369" first="Tyrone" last="Marshall"] (Pearl-Cohn) is uncommitted and wildly competent as a wing option. Marshall soared up into the PrepHoopsTN Top 10 for the first time in his career. Marshall began his career as a 4/5, but was given many ball-handling responsibilities when [player_tooltip player_id="643279" first="Marcus" last="Fitzgerald Jr."] (Tennessee State signee) missed time with a sports hernia. Marshall projects as a combo forward and his utilization will depend upon the college program he selects.

[player_tooltip player_id="643286" first="Tyrus" last="Baynham Jr."] (Tennessee Prep) has not selected a college yet. Baynham took a circuitous route, starting with Franklin Road Academy, moving to Athens Prep and then ultimately finishing his pre-college time with Tennessee Prep. Baynham is deserving of his #9 ranking because he does so many little things well. High character. Good self-discipline. Willing to put in the effort for his teammates. Slasher. Ideal size for the position.

"He will make his decision on May 7th," shared Tyrus Baynham Sr. Monday afternoon.

Baynham Jr. scored 1,000+ points just this season with Tennessee Prep. They do play longer games (20 minute halves) than every TSSAA player though.

Committed Wings

Multiple highly ranked wings are finished with their recruitment process.

Committed senior [player_tooltip player_id="954777" first="Chaz" last="Lanier"] is about to sign to University of North Florida.

"They are going to send it through electronically," shared Lanier via phone. "On the 15th."

April 15th is the first day of the "late signing period." Typically all committed players make it official on that first available day. Schools, and usually players, prefer to get it done as soon as allowed by NCAA.

[player_tooltip player_id="954775" first="Jalen" last="Page"] committed to Lee University, as his teammate [player_tooltip player_id="845987" first="Ray" last="Tyler"] signed to Tusculum. The two helped Blackman High to the Class AAA State Tournament.

[player_tooltip player_id="537060" first="Keon" last="Johnson"] signed to University of Tennessee back in fall 2019.

[player_tooltip player_id="537072" first="Samson" last="Ruzhentsev"] signed to University of Florida.

[player_tooltip player_id="643280" first="Marcellus" last="Brigham"] Jr. signed to Jacksonville State University.

[player_tooltip player_id="546263" first="Andersson" last="Garcia"] just verbally committed to Mississippi State University.

[player_tooltip player_id="643314" first="Ryan" last="Wilcox"] just recently verbally committed to Florida College and then signed.
