Time to revisit the Class of 2020 rankings and adjust to account for the player’s growth and stagnation. Rankings are subjective. Why did we rank these guys? Why are they at this spot? Take a look at several Class of 2020 prospects and learn a little about their reputation.

#171 Aidan Smylie Aidan Smylie 6'2" | CG Franklin | 2020 State TN (Franlkin)
Highly efficient shooter and slasher. Aidan rounded out the FHS offense with his ability to create from nothing. Smylie makes his debut in the top 200 this month in his final opportunity. The size for his position is decent. Truly, Smylie landed here with his refined skillset and willingness to be whatever the coaching staff needs him to be for the offensive fluidity. Really quick shot release.
#172 Noah Ring Noah Ring 6'6" | SF Gallatin | 2020 State TN (Gallatin)
Lean, lanky scorer. The height for his position is exceptional. In fact, Noah is as tall as NBA-level wing guards. That is not to say Noah is a future pro, but his height is wonderful and he uses his height well. Noah releases the shot a little above his head (could be slightly higher) and gets the ball up and out of his hands quickly when he is operating anywhere within 12′. Noah is versatile as a scorer and will be an even more dynamic slasher with added bulk. The weaknesses in Noah’s game are few and most appear to be fixable. He must add good weight to his frame. Basketball is a physical sport and competing weekly at the level he is destined for requires big shoulders and an ability to absorb contact before finishing. Ring’s frame suggests he can fill out and often players at his height/weight take longer to reach physical maturity. Still, he needs to get the body his skills deserve in order to reach his full college potential. Wonderful student (3.8 GPA, 24 ACT).
#173 Mason Spurbeck Mason Spurbeck 6'9" | PG Clarksville | 2020 State TN (Clarksville)
Camped with PrepHoopsTN back in spring ’19. Spurbeck, not because he competed in our combine, earned a starting spot with Clarksville High in 2019-2020. As a senior, Spurbeck found success under the basket.
#174 Terrance Cross Terrance Cross 6'3" | PG Blackman | 2020 State TN (Blackman)
Picked up his first offer in the middle of April. Cross played with Tennessee Tigers during his final AAU season. Plus rebounder for a 2-guard. Outside shot needs to be improved. Natural wing who played some power forward for Blackman High out of necessity. Runs the floor well. Handles are better than average, but certainly could improve to make him a potential secondary ball-handler.
Congrats to #TNTIGERS 2020 @thetjcross (@BLAZE_HOOPS) on his 1st offer. TJ is very deserving of this offer and many more. Much love and respect for this talented, outstanding young man. https://t.co/OohgKrjWaC https://t.co/pX7WmcfYNp

#175 Locke Hord Locke Hord 6'1" | SG Fairview | 2020 State TN (Fairview)
Locke Hord Locke Hord 6'1" | SG Fairview | 2020 State TN (Fairview) gifted the @PrepHoopsTN/AboveTheRimGym Fall Combine with a gentle, but consistent touch in deep. He made intelligent decisions in those tight spaces in the lane. He impressed more during a Fairview High preseason game than he did during the combine. Locke played more of a point guard role with his high school. He used his modest height to pass over defenses and he made good decisions on top of rebounding at a plus level for a high school guard.
