But there are several up-and-comers who will capably fill those big shoes next year, including a loaded Lyndon team that went 17-3 in the regular season in 2019-20.
Here are the top returners to the Flint Hills League:
Dayton Logan, junior, Mission Valley:
At 6-foot-5 and 230 pounds, Logan is a load. He averaged 14.9 points and 7.6 rebounds for the Vikings. He is just as likely to knock down 3-pointers as he is to pound it down in the low post. His presence helped Benortham fill up the stat sheet as a senior.
Cade Fischer, junior, West Franklin:
A slender 6-foot-6 junior, Fischer averaged 14.8 points and 7.6 boards. It was a rough year for the Falcons, but Fischer was a bright spot.
Miles Kitselman, junior, Lyndon:
A 6-foot-5, 240 pound monster in the middle, Kitselman is a pivot for his talented young teammates to work around.
Toby Miller, sophomore, Lyndon:
A 6-foot guard, Miller is equally confident shooting from range or taking the ball inside for the Vikings, who went 17-3 in the regular season and fell to top ranked Seabury in the sub-state final.
Luke Detwiler, junior, Lyndon:
The 5-foot-10 guard grabbed headlines in January when he led Lyndon to the Flint Hills Shootout title with upsets over Council Grove and Mission Valley. He averaged 13 points in the tournament.
Others:
Darian Massey, sophomore, Lyndon:
Shane Orender, junior, Osage City:
Landon Boss, freshman, Osage City:
