We are not quite ready for a full update to the 2022 class rankings, but we did want to dive into a few prospects that impressed us during the second half of the season. Here are our Class of 2022 2nd Half Stock Risers!
Cooper Noard Cooper Noard 6'2" | PG Glenbrook South | 2022 State IL (Glenbrook South)
Noard continues to see his stock go up every time we evaluate him. The 6’0” point guard is a gritty leader at the point that has a floater game in the lane. Plus three point shooter that has deep range on his shot. Excellent form. Gets after it on the defensive end and is a sound playmaker as a passer.
Justin King Justin King 6'4" | PG Mascoutah | 2022 State IL (Mascoutah)
What you have to like about this 6’3” point guard is his length and projectability. At a young age he has an excellent feel for the game. Creative passer that makes sound decisions getting others involved. Slick ball handler that weaves in and out of the defense. Can finish with either hand at the rim. Smooth athlete that makes plays in the lane for himself and others. Decent shooter that can stretch it to three point range.
Avyion Morris Avyion Morris 5'9" | PG Simeon | 2022 State IL (Simeon)
Morris is a quick point guard that has elevated his stock as a sophomore. Despite his lack of height he regularly gets in the lane for scoop shots or runners. Morris was the sparkplug that was a huge part Simeon’s strong second half.
