1. Jaden Westwood Jaden Westwood 6'1" | CG Piute | 2022 UT 6’9 Coronado (#2) – The battle for #1 hopefully will play out over the next couple of years. Right now slight edge goes to Kohler. Love his footwork, and his ability to see out of the post. As a middle schooler, he competed in King of the court at the grassroots 365. Those 1 on 1 skills translate seamlessly into his post-game. He’s as comfortable showing the ball, and then making a play off the dribble as he is scoring with his back to the basket.
2. Joshua Jefferson Joshua Jefferson 6'8" | PF Liberty | 2022 State #158 Nation NV 6’7 Liberty (#3) (featured image) – Jefferson is the best rebounder on the list and one of the top ones for his position nationally. Has great footwork and a variety of post moves he likes to go to. Jefferson can also step outside and knock down the occasional 3.
3. Dontrell Johnson Dontrell Johnson 6'5" | SF Trinity | 2022 State NV 6’5 Bonanza (#8) – Johnson sat out the year after transferring in from Gorman. One of the top athletes on the list, Johnson sprints the floor like a deer and excels at finishing in transition.
4. Michael Klekas Michael Klekas 6'3" | SF Elko | 2022 State NV 6’3 Elko (#10) Klekas plays almost every position for Elko, however, he is his most dominant when he has you on his back in the post. Highly skilled player that can score with both hands around the basket. If you put a bigger defender on him, his handle and shooting allow him to drag them outside.
5. Aaron Price Aaron Price 6'7" | PF Liberty | 2022 State NV 6’5 Liberty (#13) – Price sat out the year after transferring in from Liberty. The explosive R&J athlete is a rebounder, shot-blocker and transition finisher.
6. Jalen Foy Jalen Foy 6'5" | SF Canyon Springs | 2022 State NV 6’5 Canyon Springs (#20) – I like this kid! Foy is a pick and pop big who rarely steps inside the 3 point line. However, he is willing to defend and battle for rebounds on the defensive backboard.
7. Sargent Jeffery Sargent Jeffery 6'5" | PF Desert Valley Prep | 2022 State NV 6’5 Coronado (#21) – Jeffrey is a good athlete with a developing offensive game. Has the ability to switch and hedge ball screens, and on the offensive end, he is a good end changer that can catch and finish in transition.
8. Corbin Dagons Corbin Dagons 6'5" | PF Legacy | 2022 State NV 6’5 Legacy (#24) – Dargons is a floor-spacing big, that loves to play pick and pop basketball. He seldom is going to step inside the arc, however, he is a natural shooter that forces bigs to close hard.
9. Lorenzo Moore Lorenzo Moore 6'5" | PF Canyon Springs | 2022 State NV 6’4 Canyon Springs (#26) – The future looks pretty good at Canyon. Moore is a physical big that scores mostly off putbacks and in transition. Good interior defender willing to compete in the post.
10. Brandon Enriquez Brandon Enriquez 6'6" | C Shadow Ridge | 2022 State NV 6’5 Rancho (#36) – Don’t sleep on Enriquez. The big man is a willing defender and rebounder. He has decent hands and can finishes efficiently around the basket.
