C/O 2021 & 2022 Next Step Prospects
<p><i>Quite a few teams in NC will be losing some talent due to graduation while other programs will simply be looking for new players to step up. The players below are prospects we feel can take the next step as far as production and recruitment</i>. <br />
<br />
<b>Farmville Central Junior Forward [player_tooltip player_id="838031" first="Leontae" last="Moye"]</b>: Farmville will be losing two out of three of their leading scorers from this season so there will definitely be a need for some leadership and scoring next year. Moye has quietly been a very valuable piece to the success of Farmville as he brings: Size, Rebounding, interior defense and offense.</p>
<p><b>Trinity Christian Junior Forward [player_tooltip player_id="838058" first="Robert" last="Wright"]:</b> With the graduation of [player_tooltip player_id="833294" first="Todd" last="Burtt"], Wright will be one of the only returning players with size for TCS. His desire to play the game in a physical manner is a breath of fresh air as we have seen many players that are his height that prefer to play the game on the perimeter. </p>
<p><b>Wayne Christian Sophomore Guard Jayquan Curry</b>: His scoring stats from this past season have been simply incredible and now he will find himself on the scouting report of teams from around the state. The Goldsboro area is known for players that can score the ball at a high level and he very well could be the next in line.</p>
<p><b>Fayetteville Academy Sophomore Wing [player_tooltip player_id="787670" first="Amari" last="Pearson"]</b>: You never have to question if he’s going to bring effort when he steps on the court. He’s one of those players that doesn’t take plays off and plays with the attitude that every lose ball and every rebound belongs to him.</p>
<p><b>Wayne Country Day Junior Guard Carlos Raven</b>: A solid contributor throughout the year, he will be looked upon at WCD to produce at a higher level on both ends as a Senior. He’s a decent scorer but also has shown the ability to make plays for others as well as having the tools to be a good defender.</p>
<p><b>East Forsyth Junior Forward [player_tooltip player_id="838053" first="Zyun" last="Reeves"]</b>: You have to love what he brings to the table and the upside that he has which should have colleges interested. He can play with his back to the basket using his frame to embrace contact while using his soft hands to finish around the basket and with midrange jumpers.</p>
