<p>Wilson started the game with great energy and efficiency. [player_tooltip player_id="840322" first="Damani" last="Green"] found Jackson Dorsey in the half-court offense for a layup, [player_tooltip player_id="923120" first="Cayden" last="McDaniel"] forced a steal then went coast-to-coast finishing the layup and [player_tooltip player_id="840355" first="Emani" last="Mitchell"] followed up with another layup. Before you knew it, Rams were up 6-0 in the opening minute. Dorsey, Mitchell and Ellison who came off the bench provided majority of their scoring.</p>
<p>Wilson held Marysville-Getchell to just 6 points and led by 10 (16-6) heading into the second quarter.</p>
<p>Dominique Ellison opened the quarter on a personal 6-0 scoring run, Jackson Dorsey finished everything around the rim also rebounded everything, McDaniel managed to play with great pace while making 3-point shots and free throws. Marysville-Getchell’s Malakhi Knight would end the Chargers scoring drought with a fastbreak dunk, making free throws and midrange jump shot in their half-court offense.</p>
<p>Scoring by Ellison, Dorsey and McDaniel was critical for the Rams which resulted in a 39-14 lead at halftime.</p>
<p>Malakhi Knight’s scoring carried over into the second half from making contested and open 3-point shots, coast-to-coast layups and layups which resulted in him converting the free throw after being fouled. Josiah Koellmer would contribute as well by hitting 3-point shots and running floaters in the lane.</p>
<p>Despite the scoring surge by Marysville-Getchell, Wilson overall was flat-out dominate from start to finish. Jackson Dorsey continued his scoring around the room while rebounding at a high level, Malik Howard finished around the rim with contact, [player_tooltip player_id="923120" first="Cayden" last="McDaniel"] found teammates for open shots and didn’t force the issue.</p>
<p>Wilson’s energy and efficiency remained the same regardless of score which resulted in a 73-52 victory. </p>
