The abrupt end to the Oklahoma high school season sucks all around. The seniors are the players who will never get a chance to finish their high school careers. But that is not all. Several very talented seniors are not signed and still looking to find their college home. The State Tournament could have been one more opportunity to showcase their skills. At this point, it looks doubtful based on where our world is today that the tournament will be played. College coaches fear not! We have you covered on the prospects you might have missed during your busy season.

1. [player_tooltip player_id="931188" first="Nate" last="Goodlow"] Del City Combo Guard

Goodlow dominated this season on the court showing out each night. What sticks with me constantly about Goodlow is how much of a winner this kid is willing to do anything to help team. Goodlow is great off the bounce getting to the rack or creating for others. Shooting is the one thing holding Goodlow back from getting D1 offers at this time. The great news? Goodlow could be the perfect fit for the right JUCO to propel to the D1 level or he could opt to be one of the best D2 recruits in Oklahoma. Goodlow holds several offers from the D2 and JUCO level.

2. [player_tooltip player_id="609752" first="Jordan" last="Thompson"] Southmoore Point Guard

Thompson could easily be 1 on this list with the season he had at Southmoore. Leadership is a category Thompson has taken by the horns at Southmoore. At the Point Guard spot, Thompson gives you scoring from behind the arc as a catch and shoot or off the dribble guy. Beyond his scoring what will stand out on the film about Thompson is his unselfishness giving the ball up to teammates for the best shot. He could easily be 20 shots a game guy, but most games takes way less making the best play for his team. Thompson will land at the JUCO or high D2 level out of high school. Similar to Goodlow if Thompson does decide to go JUCO don’t be shocked when he lands at the D1 level.

3. [player_tooltip player_id="931189" first="BJ" last="Jefferson"] Tulsa Central Wing

Jefferson is a load of talent on the Wing out of Tulsa Central. The rarest thing about Jefferson is the combination of his size at 6’4 mixed with his athleticism. The kid has a chance to be a D1 player one day. The upside is there. The choice is up to Jefferson as to how good he wants to be. For Jefferson fit is going to be key going to the right JUCO that pushes him to be the best version of himself. D2 is not out of the mix completely, but if you follow his top seven he released it seems JUCO is clearly on his mind.

4. [player_tooltip player_id="931191" first="Ashawnti" last="Hunter"] Lawton Forward

Hunter is a Forward who blossomed late in his career at Lawton. Part of the reason many do not know as much about him is the fact he is from Lawton. Put those two combinations together and you get your answer to why Hunter is still on the board this late. Hunter is a prospect every JUCO in Oklahoma should go strong after with his 6’8 strong frame and upside written all over his game. Rebounding is the brightest spot for his game currently. With some work, Hunter could become a force on the offensive end. Hunter is another guy on this list who has the potential with his frame to go D1 long term or be an impactful D2 prospect.

5. [player_tooltip player_id="931216" first="Brennen" last="Burns"] Bethany Point Guard

If you want a guy who will run the wall for you this is your guy. The young man wowed us all this season with a masterful season at Bethany. It is a shame Covid-19 popped up or else he may have had a Gold Ball and shocked the entire world. Who knows? But what we do know is Burns is a legit college prospect at the Point Guard spot. Too many times colleges pass on small Point Guards for this or that reason. I encourage schools to looks past his height and at his game. Burns has several offers at the small college level and I’d imagine will pick up a few more.

6. [player_tooltip player_id="931201" first="Demontreal" last="Crutchfield"] Del City Point Guard

Crutchfield is going to be a really nice small college player for someone at the next level. It has been really fun to see him and Goodlow work so well together over their high school career. What I like about Crutchfield a ton is the way he carries himself on the court. He can handle the Point Guard duties or switch over to the two-guard and be a lethal weapon shooting the rock. Crutchfield has offers at the D2 and JUCO level.

7. [player_tooltip player_id="931211" first="Kalub" last="Hunt"] Newcastle Wing

Hunt is a guy I have seen quite a bit of over the calendar year. I must say I really think this kid is going to be one who blossoms in college. The growth we have seen in his time under Coach Brown is remarkable. Hunt can score at all three levels with a beautiful shot from behind the arc to pair with his monster jams at the rim. If I was a JUCO in Oklahoma I’d be all over Hunt with the upside on his game and solid size on the Wing.

8. [player_tooltip player_id="904625" first="Brock" last="Davis"] Holland Hall Forward

Davis some may feel is low on this list and I could certainly see an argument from him to be a little higher. The reason I have him at 8 is that Davis is a little bit of a tweener. At 6’5 Davis brings tons of rebounding to the table, high basketball IQ (super smart in general), and some crafty moves around the cup. I could see Davis being a strong producer over a four-year career at a D2 or walking on at a D1 school and getting his education.

9. [player_tooltip player_id="931192" first="Donovan" last="Vickers"] Edmond Santa Fe Point Guard

The world has forgotten Vickers to some degree, but it is time to wake up. Vickers can be a really good fit for a D2 at the Point Guard spot. The way he stepped up at Edmond Santa Fe this season as the clear senior leader was fun to watch. A young team who looked like Bambi on the court early was in full stride by the end of the season. Vickers scans the court well finding guys as the perfect set up man. He rocks defenders to sleep with slick moves to the cup. Vickers has heard from several schools, but in my opinion, could be hearing from more.

10. [player_tooltip player_id="931198" first="MJ" last="Warrior"] PC West Point Guard

Warrior could fall anywhere from 6-10 on this list in my opinion. To be straight forward it is all in what a college is looking for position-wise and fit. We have seen Warrior turn into a prospect at West that consistently makes the right plays for his team. Whatever college gets Warrior is going to get a great young man off the court and a dawg on the court. A tough Guard to stop when he gets going downhill. Warrior hit some big shots in his career at West most notably from my perspective from three-point land. This is one I am really crushed the state tournament did not happen because Warrior would have shown out helping his stock. He does have several schools in the mix for his talents.

11 . [player_tooltip player_id="931203" first="Brayshawn" last="Hubbard-Finch"] Tulsa Memorial Wing

Hubbard has the opportunity to be the golden jewel found late in the process of the 2020 class. This season he battled injuries at times, which kept some from seeing just how good of a player he is on the Wing. Hubbard is long, lanky, and super athletic. The JUCO level is perfect for him to develop and show off his talent.

12. [player_tooltip player_id="931205" first="Hunter" last="Hoggatt"] Sapulpa Wing

Hoggatt is a sharpshooter from the outside with some solid size. He did everything that was asked of him at Sapulpa and then some. Without a doubt, in my mind, Hoggatt is a college player. The college interest level could be higher at this point. Hoggatt brings scoring on offense with a toughness about him on the defensive end. NAIA level in the KCAC could be the perfect fit or at the right D2.

13. [player_tooltip player_id="609770" first="Seth" last="Chargois"] Union Wing

Chargois found his footing at Union the past two seasons. This year we saw Chargois show off his overall game. He did a bit of everything from scoring off the Wing as a slasher, ball handler, and shooter. To making plays in the passing lanes on defense and taking it the other way for an easy two. Chargois is sneaky athletic and long. He is hearing from several small colleges and recently picked up offers from Redlands, Kansas Wesleyan, and Bethel.

14. [player_tooltip player_id="931215" first="Jalyn" last="Todd"] Deer Creek Wing

What has always jumped out to me about Todd is his size from the first day I watched him play. When you see the way he moves on the court as a true Wing standing at every bit of 6’4 it catches your eye in Oklahoma. He can put the ball on the floor and be a playmaker or thrive as a catch and shoot guy in rhythm. I am not sure what level of small college Todd will land, but wherever that is he will be productive and the coaches won’t have to worry one bit about him. He is a great teammate and someone who is going to outwork the masses.

15. [player_tooltip player_id="931204" first="KD" last="Jolly"] Putnam City Point Guard

Jolly is as tough as nails at Point Guard. He is starting to generate some college interest following the end of his senior season. After a great summer with Buddy Buckets, the offers never poured for whatever reason. Size is my guess. That being said we have seen smaller guys succeed and what I like particularly about Jolly is the fact he can shoot the ball well. The biggest challenge will be defensively for Jolly at the next level. If there is one thing we know he will give everything he has in his tank. He is another guy I am not sure what level small college wise he lands at but I am confident will be productive over his four years.

Bonus: [player_tooltip player_id="931193" first="Luke" last="Gunns"] Paden Wing

Gunns is maybe a bit low on this list probably to be transparent I did not get a chance to see him this high school season. What I saw in AAU this past summer was an athletic, long, lanky Wing with a lot of raw upside. JUCO I believe is his best bet to not only develop but showcase what his talent level is at the next level.

Bonus: [player_tooltip player_id="931200" first="Laquon" last="Williams"] Lawton Wing

This was the find of the high school season for me. We saw Williams play a huge role in Lawton’s win over Southmoore in the regular season cashing in three-pointers left and right. Yes, Williams is a legit 6’8. He is built skinny as a rail. The PERFECT fit for a JUCO looking to take on a development project on the Wing. In the right place, Williams could be a monster.

Bonus: [player_tooltip player_id="931199" first="Ben" last="Emmert"] Norman Wing

Emmert is a good shooter from behind the arc who plays his butt off every night. Small colleges looking for a high IQ player who could produce and be a great locker room guy check him out.

As with any prospect evaluations, these numbers could change on the fit of the college program. There is zero doubt in my mind all 18 of the players listed are surefire college players.
