With the possibility of losing the entire AAU season this year, I will try and mention all 115 juniors ranked.

I like to take a look at my annual “Top-5’s”.

Every player has their 1 skill they usually excel at.

It’s just a fun way to take a look at players’ elite skills in different categories.

We move over to the 8 passers. These are the players who can make their teammates better around them.

Here are my Top-5:

1. [player_tooltip player_id="885820" first="Jalen" last="Scott"] (Paradise Honors)

-The top passer in the AIA can seemingly find all 4 players on the court at any time. He is a special next level passer with incredible size for position. His full court passes are Lonzo-like.

2. [player_tooltip player_id="809691" first="Marcus" last="Wady"] (Desert Vista)

-A wizard with the ball shined in the 6A Chip showing off his passing skills with close to 10 assists.

3. [player_tooltip player_id="703810" first="Bailon" last="Black"] (Ironwood)

-Already known as one of the top shooters but his play-making can lead 5A in assists next year. He can find anyone on the court with his right and preferred off hand left in their shooting pocket.

4. [player_tooltip player_id="703797" first="Carson" last="Basham"] (Sunnyslope)

-You probably didn't expect a 6'10 center to be on the list, but he is that special of a passer. He can surprisingly handle the ball well and makes plays consistently for others.

5. [player_tooltip player_id="809699" first="Carson" last="Kelly"] (Chandler)

-A natural scoring PG from all levels, but is a very good passer. He can find anyone in traffic and makes plays with his tight handle and vision.

3 more:

1. [player_tooltip player_id="809729" first="Demetrus" last="Johnson"] (San Tan Charter)

-A flashy pure PG with good quicks and sees the court well.

2. [player_tooltip player_id="809733" first="Eric" last="Lira"] (Central)

-A pure PG who likes getting downhill and making plays for others. He'll go through quarters without even shooting.

3. [player_tooltip player_id="809726" first="Austin" last="Hutchings"] (Perry)

-Pass first PG who advance passes smartly. He can hit an open 3 plus make plays. He should get more PT next year.
