With the possibility of losing the entire AAU season this year, I will try and mention all 115 juniors ranked.

I like to take a look at my annual “Top-5’s”.

Every player has their 1 skill they usually excel at.

It’s just a fun way to take a look at players’ elite skills in different categories.

We move over to the 9 players that have an elite feel the game. These are the players that almost have a sixth sense and just know what they are doing on a high level. Usually the smartest players on their team.

Here are my Top-5:

1. [player_tooltip player_id="703792" first="Tyrone" last="Washington"] (AZ Compass Prep)

-The top feel for in the game is never sped up. He is very calm during stressful situations and uses his high feel to beat his defenders.

2. [player_tooltip player_id="590836" first="Justus" last="Jackson"] (Millennium)

-An athletic and fast scoring guard can score from all 3 levels but also is one of the better play-makers. He changes speeds and goes from very fast to slow quickly. A better passer then most realize.

3. [player_tooltip player_id="809688" first="Brett" last="HardtJr"] (Phhoenix Prep)

-A top-notch shooter is improving quickly. His ability to change speeds and read the D is next level.

4. [player_tooltip player_id="809697" first="Isaiah" last="Freeney"] (South Mountain)

-A scoring lead guard plays at his own pace. Constantly changes speeds and is a smart play-maker and very good perimeter shooter with a nice floater game.

5. [player_tooltip player_id="703827" first="Steven" last="Cervantes"] (Mesa)

-A cerebral PG has volleyball line 3pt range, but he changes speeds and uses his mind to create separation. He is deceptively fast and a fun player to watch. Can make others better too.

4-more:

1. [player_tooltip player_id="809702" first="Dre" last="Sheehan"] (Agua Fria)

-A downhill pure PG liked to get in lane and smartly uses hesitations to get the defense off balance.

2. [player_tooltip player_id="809719" first="Riley" last="Fornerette"] (Dysart)

-A quick shooting lead guard can score it from deep. He changes speeds well and uses his burst to get into the lane. Plays a smart floor game and is a good passer.

3. [player_tooltip player_id="809721" first="Thomas" last="Hastings"] (Basha)

-High IQ play-maker and shooter thinks like a son of a coach would and consistently outsmarts his opponents.

4. [player_tooltip player_id="932439" first="Noah" last="Dutcher"] (Cactus Shadows)

-A good sized PG makes plays for others and can hit the 3 and seems to be a step ahead of the defense despite not being a blur.
