<p>The 3A and 4A Sectional Semis continued on Wednesday night across the state.  Here are some of the highlights!</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong><u>4A</u></strong></p> <p><strong>Whitney Young defeats Simeon 68-54</strong></p> <p>We covered this CPS rivalry game on Wednesday.  Duke commit <strong>DJ</strong> <strong>Steward</strong> was fantastic with 23 points.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>St. Charles North edges Hononegah 56-48</strong></p> <p>Bradley commit <strong>Connor</strong> <strong>Linke</strong> leads team to win with 12 points.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Thornton over Homewood Flossmoor 62-53</strong></p> <p>The path to state opens up for Thornton with the Bloom loss.  <strong>Ari</strong> <strong>Brown</strong> and <strong>Sean</strong> <strong>Burress</strong> had 13 points.  Tough Marian Catholic up next.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Aurora East continues run with win over Aurora West 61-51</strong></p> <p>Cinderella continues run in March!</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Naperville Central edges out Glenbard East 62-58</strong></p> <p>One of the closest games of the night Naperville Central pulls it out!</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong><u>3A</u></strong></p> <p><strong>St. Ignatius upsets DePaul Prep 56-54</strong></p> <p><strong>Dan</strong> <strong>Florey</strong> comes up clutch with 18 points in the win on Iggy’s home floor.  <strong>Kolby</strong> <strong>Gilles</strong> produces with 17 points and <strong>Luke</strong> <strong>Collins</strong> has 10 points.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Kankakee throttles Oak Forest 72-51</strong></p> <p>What a performance by Kankakee led by <strong>Lavell</strong> <strong>McIntosh</strong> who had 18 points.  Unsigned senior Oak Forest star <strong>Jayson</strong> <strong>Kent</strong> netted 23 points.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>St. Viator knocks off St. Patrick 53-52</strong></p> <p>It was an OT win for St. Viator over a good St. Patrick team.  William &amp; Mary commit <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="916668" first="Connor" last="Kochera"]</strong> drops 23 points.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Lincoln continues to roll over Decatur MacArthur 60-41</strong></p> <p><strong>Kaden</strong> <strong>Froebe</strong> continues to lead the Railsplitters on road to state.  Went for 18 points on Wednesday.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Chatham Glenwood moves on over Carbondale 45-39</strong></p> <p><strong>Luke</strong> <strong>Lehnan</strong> had 18 points in the win.  Tyler Burris went for 13 points.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Hampshire defeats Rockford Boylan 62-59</strong></p> <p><strong>Keynan</strong> <strong>Davis</strong> leads Hampshire with 15 points.  Boylan star <strong>Anthony</strong> <strong>Brown</strong> finished with 16 points.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Manual gets win over Rock Island 75-57</strong></p> <p>Manual big man <strong>Josh</strong> <strong>Ivory</strong> scored 13 points.  <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="916681" first="Pee" last="WeeBrown"]</strong> had 12 points and grabbed 12 boards.  <strong>Taurean</strong> <strong>Holtman</strong> went for 16 points in the loss for Rock Island while their 2021 standout guard <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="920962" first="Jordan" last="Rice"]</strong> scored 15 points.</p>
