<p><strong>Marian Catholic shocks Bloom 47-45</strong></p>
<p>The biggest game of the night was Marian Catholic’s win over Bloom. Marian Catholic is led by Iowa commit <strong>Ahron</strong> <strong>Ulis</strong> who had 19 points and 9 rebounds. <strong>Yemi</strong> <strong>Elutilo</strong> is becoming a force for this team with 15 points. Bloom was led by Tulsa commit <strong>Keshawn</strong> <strong>Williams</strong> with 12 points. Bloom with their 5 D1 prospects is eliminated.</p>

<p><strong>Loyola shuts down Niles North 48-24</strong></p>
<p>DEFENSE, DEFENSE, DEFENSE. Loyola shuts down powerful Niles North offense.</p>

<p><strong>Evanston narrowly defeats Glenbrook South 62-57</strong></p>
<p>One of the more fun games of the night with a well-balanced junior Evanston squad against a star led Glenbrook South. Evanston closed late behind <strong>Jaylin</strong> <strong>Gibson</strong> who had 18 points, <strong>Blake</strong> <strong>Peters</strong> with 16 points, and <strong>Isaiah</strong> <strong>Holden</strong> who had 15 points. In the final game of his record setting career <strong>Dominic</strong> <strong>Martinelli</strong> had 18 points</p>

<p><strong>Curie rolls over Morton 65-52</strong></p>
<p>The big test will be Friday with a CPS rival. <strong>Josiah</strong> <strong>Hammons</strong> drops 17 points along with 14 points for <strong>Armond</strong> <strong>Williams</strong>.</p>

<p><strong>Cary Grove survives against Huntley 49-46</strong></p>
<p>Double OT win for Cary Grove. It was the inside/outside duo for Cary Grove that came up big as <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="916678" first="Beau" last="Frericks"]</strong> dropped 24 points while <strong>Frank</strong> <strong>Jakubicek</strong> had 17 points. <strong>Uchenna</strong> <strong>Egekeze</strong> led the way for Huntley with 11 points.</p>

<p><strong>Mundelein squeeks by Prospect 46-42</strong></p>
<p>The junior trio each contribute in low scoring game as Drake commit <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="920946" first="Conor" last="Enright"]</strong> had 13 points, <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="796148" first="Trey" last="Baker"]</strong> went for 10 points, and top 20 junior <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="765154" first="Scottie" last="Ebube"]</strong> had 9 points.</p>

<p><strong>Collinsville wins trilogy over O’Fallon 62-38</strong></p>
<p>This was the rubber match as these two metro east programs split during the season. O’Fallon made a statement behind 21 points from SIU-Edwardsville commit <strong>Ray’Sean Taylor</strong>. Unsigned post <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="817716" first="Keydrian" last="Jones"]</strong> had 14 points.</p>

<p><strong>Fenwick routs Westinghouse 94-71</strong></p>
<p>Our Jakub Rudnick will have more on this game in a feature story. Louisville commit <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="529051" first="Bryce" last="Hopkins"]</strong> is a BEAST! The #2 junior had 36 points and 12 rebounds. Top sophomore guard <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="771530" first="Trey" last="Pettigrew"]</strong> went for 21 points for the Friars.</p>

<p><strong>Bogan flexes over Riverside Brookfield 71-44</strong></p>
<p>No doubt Bogan was favored, but the margin against a quality RB team is impressive. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="817673" first="Antoine" last="Bloxton"]</strong> drops 25 points while LIU-Brooklyn commit <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="916669" first="Kyndall" last="Davis"]</strong> had 14 points.</p>

<p><strong>Morgan Park narrowly defeats Hillcrest 73-69</strong></p>
<p>This one was close all night long! Two fun and exciting teams with tons of college prospects. PHI’s Steve Parham will have more on this one. The states #3 2021 <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="652081" first="Brandon" last="Weston"]</strong> led the way with 29 points.</p>

<p>Super close game between these two central Illinois programs.</p>

<p>We picked Central A&M to win it all in 1A. They are out after Goreville pulls the upset in Carbondale.</p>

<p><strong>Aurora Christian defeats undefeated Indian Creek 70-43</strong></p>
<p>Wow what a game for Aurora Christian. <strong>Danny New</strong> had 21 points and Vincennes commit <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="916685" first="Taaj" last="Davis"]</strong> went for 10 points.</p>
