Super Tuesday 2.0! Huge night of basketball across the state with 1A/2A Super Sectionals along with 3A/4A Sectional semis. We dive into the big games across the state in our notebook! 20+ games featured!

4A

Marian Catholic shocks Bloom 47-45

The biggest game of the night was Marian Catholic’s win over Bloom. Marian Catholic is led by Iowa commit Ahron Ulis who had 19 points and 9 rebounds. Yemi Elutilo is becoming a force for this team with 15 points. Bloom was led by Tulsa commit Keshawn Williams with 12 points. Bloom with their 5 D1 prospects is eliminated.

Loyola shuts down Niles North 48-24

DEFENSE, DEFENSE, DEFENSE. Loyola shuts down powerful Niles North offense.

Evanston narrowly defeats Glenbrook South 62-57

One of the more fun games of the night with a well-balanced junior Evanston squad against a star led Glenbrook South. Evanston closed late behind Jaylin Gibson Josiah Hammons drops 17 points along with 14 points for Armond Williams.

Cary Grove survives against Huntley 49-46

Double OT win for Cary Grove. It was the inside/outside duo for Cary Grove that came up big as [player_tooltip player_id="916678" first="Beau" last="Frericks"] dropped 24 points while Frank Jakubicek had 17 points. Uchenna Egekeze led the way for Huntley with 11
