“Mr. Region” Candidates – Class AAA Tuesday Night Stars

<p>In an Elimination Night, responsible, dynamic players needed to appear and those that did largely advanced.  There is no "Mr. Region" title, but this grouping of players deserve special recognition after sparkling Tuesday night performances.</p> <p><em>To be considered for this article DM <a href="https://twitter.com/PrepHoopsTN">@PrepHoopsTN</a> your stats and/or boxscore photo ASAP!</em></p> <p>Northeast overcame a balanced Station Camp team.<br /> <strong>Marcus Averhart</strong> (Northeast) gave 12 points to the Eagles.</p> <p>Bradley Central won, 69-62 and will meet their nemesis Cleveland High again.<br /> <span style="font-size: 1rem;"><strong><a href="https://prephoops.com/player/tray-curry/"><a href="https://prephoops.com/player/tray-curry/">Tray Curry</a></a></strong> (Bradley Central) dominated with 22 points and 10 rebounds.<br /> <strong>Quante Berry</strong> (Bradley Central) scored 16 points.<br /> <strong><a href="https://prephoops.com/player/mason-rothwell/"><a href="https://prephoops.com/player/mason-rothwell/">Mason Rothwell</a></a></strong> (Bradley Central) helped with 10 points and 8 rebounds. </span></p> <p>Science Hill crushed the talented South Doyle Cherokees, 58-32. <br /> <strong>Amare Redd</strong> (Science Hill) scored 13 points.<br /> <strong>Jacob Matherne</strong> (Science Hill) registered 10 points, <br /> <strong>Thomas Mesimer</strong> (Science Hill) put in 12 points.</p> <p>Oak Ridge defeated Bearden, 56-53.<br /> <strong><a href="https://prephoops.com/player/jonathan-milloway/"><a href="https://prephoops.com/player/jonathan-milloway/">Jonathan Milloway</a></a></strong> (Oak Ridge) was a consistently reliable scorer for the Wildcats.  Milloway scored 20 points.  He converted a fantastic and-1 in the final two minutes.  It opened up the game to a 6-point game with 1:34 remaining.<br /> <strong><a href="https://prephoops.com/player/cahlib-edwards/"><a href="https://prephoops.com/player/cahlib-edwards/">Cahlib Edwards</a></a></strong> (Bearden) and <strong>Elijah Bredwood</strong> (Bearden) caused a disrupting amount of turnovers from the Oak Ridge guards, keeping the Bulldogs in nipping distance all night.  Edwards scored 17 points in the loss.  Bredwood scored 11 points. </p> <p>Maryville walloped Clinton, 80-53.<br /> <strong><a href="https://prephoops.com/player/joe-anderson/"><a href="https://prephoops.com/player/joe-anderson/">Joe Anderson</a></a></strong> (Maryville) was predictably outstanding.  He scored 35 points to push the Rebels onward.<br /> <strong><a href="https://prephoops.com/player/jack-brown/"><a href="https://prephoops.com/player/jack-brown/">Jack Brown</a></a></strong> (Maryville) helped with 17 points.<br /> <strong>Josh Seiler</strong> (Maryville) pumped in 9 points.<br /> <strong>Ashton Maples</strong> (Maryville) managed 8 points in the victory.</p> <p>Oak Ridge meets Maryville Thursday night.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>Blackman beat Oakland, 42-37.<br /> <strong>T.J.
