With the loss of the Sweet Sixteen and no spring AAU where they could play as unsigned Seniors, there are a lot of Seniors across Kentucky still looking for their college destination. With graduation not too far away and college on the horizon, here’s a look at the top available Seniors in the bluegrass state. They are broken down by position group and in order by their spot in the PHKY rankings.

Top Available Centers

[player_tooltip player_id="915105" first="Ksuan" last="Casey"], Madisonville-North Hopkins - One of the top available players in the class, Ksuan was voted to the first team All State by Kentucky's coaches just today. At 6'9 and possessing a polished low post skill set, Ksuan should be a D1 commit at some point. He has had offers in the past from Morehead State and Evansville (before their coaching change).

[player_tooltip player_id="915112" first="Ray" last="Suratt"], Lafayette - After averaging 24 points and 11 rebounds in his Senior season, you would think that Big Ray would have a long list of college suitors already. Suratt shot 67% from the field and 39% from three on the season but the Generals struggled mightily and limped to a 10-21 record. Ray should be a scholarship level player in college.

[player_tooltip player_id="915126" first="Riley" last="Bodner"], Lincoln County - Probably the best defender and shot blocker on the list, Bodner is an underrated offensive player who is an excellent passer out of the post. After averaging 9 points and 9 rebounds per game in his Senior year, Bodner's best basketball is ahead of him.

[player_tooltip player_id="915131" first="Preston" last="Murrell"], John Hardin - Another player whose best ball is likely ahead of him, the 6'9 Murrell averaged 10 points and 6 rebounds as a Senior. Shooting 62% from the floor, Preston shows his efficiency as a low post threat. He has some small college offers and is likely to pick one soon.

[player_tooltip player_id="915141" first="Jaylen" last="Barber"], Great Crossing - If you're looking for high potential, Jaylen is your guy. At 6'8 and very long and athletic, Barber has steadily improved over the last few years and would make sense for a junior college wanting to take a low risk, high reward player in the 2020 class. If he can ever stop fouling so much, Barber will increase his impact on the floor.

[player_tooltip player_id="783088" first="Lincoln" last="Bush"], George Rogers Clark - Another player with multiple small college scholarship offers, Bush plays with a mean streak and averaged an impressive 14 points and 14 rebounds this season. A 59% shooter from the floor, Lincoln was a difference maker for the Cardinals this season and should be a good small college player in the future after he adds some muscle.

[player_tooltip player_id="783086" first="Alex" last="Schlach"], Mason County - One of the best players in the 10th region this season, Alex is a highly skilled big body that can move and is an underrated athlete. He has great grades and good test scores and would be steal for a high academic D3 school where he can get his education paid for with an academic scholarship.
