<p>The Group 2 quarterfinals were full of intrigue as some of the state’s top teams were on full display. Camden and Manasquan cruised to easy victories, while North Star Academy continued its Cinderella run to the semifinals. Some players put up monster performances that helped carry their teams into the semifinals. Here are the under radar players with impact performances in the Group 2 quarterfinals.</p>
<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="896642" first="MJ" last="Iraldi"]/ [player_tooltip player_id="896629" first="Brandon" last="Ratcliffe"], 6’5/6’1 West Deptford 2020</strong></p>
<p>West Deptford’s senior duo exploded for 66 total points in a fast-paced 93-90 victory over Pleasantville. Iraldi was dominant throughout the game as he scored a game-high 37 points, grabbed 10 rebounds and dished out four assists. Ratcliffe was in control of the offense as he had a team-high five assists and poured in 29 points. Iraldi blocked a pair of shots down low and has proven that he is one of the top available wings in South Jersey. He and Ratcliffe are looking to continue their high school career as West Deptford takes on top seeded Camden in the semifinals.</p>
<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="896673" first="Spencer" last="Myler"], 6’7 SF Mountain Lakes 2020</strong></p>
<p>Myler was a part of last season’s team that won North Jersey 2 Group 2 and showed up in a big way in the 58-44 victory over Manchester Regional. The 6’7 senior had a game-high 24 points as he used his size to his advantage down low. Myler was able to get his shot off in the mid-range and even knocked down a three-pointer. He made smart decisions with the ball in his hands and was relentless on the glass. A rematch of the North Jersey 2 Group 2 final awaits in the semifinals and Myler will have to be at his best to get back to the final.</p>
<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="933724" first="Andrew" last="Gostovich"], 6’1 SG Haddonfield 2020</strong></p>
<p>Gostovich was the only player on the floor who was comfortable on offense in Haddonfield’s 53-28 victory over Point Pleasant Boro. The 6’1 senior had 22 points and eight rebounds as the Panthers could not keep him out of the lane. Gostovich knocked three shots from behind the arc and used his quickness to free himself in the halfcourt. Haddonfield is looking to make its third straight appearance in the Tournament of Champions and Gostovich will have to be at his best for that to happen.</p>
<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="900337" first="Toriano" last="Munford"], 6’5 SF Lincoln 2021</strong></p>
<p>The sixth-seeded Lincoln routed third-seeded Hillside 75-46 behind Munford’s big game. The 6’5 junior filled up the stat sheet as he finished up with 22 points, eight rebounds, five assists and four blocks. Munford was unstoppable down low as Hillside had no answer for him when he attacked the basket. His ability to pass out of the post was huge as he found sophomore <strong>Wendell Moreland </strong>throughout the game. Lincoln is looking to make it back to the Central Jersey Group 2 title game and Munford will need to continue his solid play against Holmdel in the semifinals.</p>
<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="896476" first="Jordan" last="Martin"], 6’2 SG Bordentown 2020</strong></p>
<p>Martin has been a big-time scorer all season and proved it again in Bordentown’s 64-57 victory. The 6’2 senior had a game-high 27 points as he was hot from behind the arc. Martin knocked down six three-pointers, but was also able to blow by his defender in the halfcourt. He showcased his ability to finish around the rim with a couple of nice layups. Bordentown faces top-seeded Manasquan in the quarterfinals and the Scotties will need Martin to be at his best to pull off the upset.</p>
