The Class 5A All-State team features players from all across the state of Oklahoma. Prep Hoops Oklahoma looked at what the athletes did consistently on the floor.

MVP: [player_tooltip player_id="931188" first="Nate" last="Goodlow"] Del City

Goodlow dominated for Del City attacking the defense non-stop until he or a teammate found a way to score a basket. What you saw on defense from Goodlow described him best, a winner. Goodlow not only put up great numbers for Del City. He led the Eagles on and off the court keeping his team focused on finishing atop Class 5A. Ultimately, it feels as if we got to the end of the movie and did not get to finish the final chapter seeing a group of seniors led by Goodlow knock down the door for a Championship. It won’t fill the void of the Gold Ball, but Goodlow is without a doubt the MVP of the Class.

First Team

[player_tooltip player_id="931201" first="Demontreal" last="Crutchfield"] Del City

[player_tooltip player_id="745374" first="Danquez" last="Dawsey"] Lawton Mac

[player_tooltip player_id="931209" first="Jaxon" last="Jones"] Tahlequah

[player_tooltip player_id="535607" first="Kavon" last="Key"] Tulsa Memorial

[player_tooltip player_id="745376" first="James" last="Locke"] Carl Albert

Crutchfield leads a good first team in Class 5A at the Guard spot. He finished off a terrific career for the Eagles pouring in points from all over. Jones was the hidden star before the year who blossomed into quite the player for the Tahlequah Tigers. The last of the seniors to make the first team is [player_tooltip player_id="535607" first="Kavon" last="Key"]. What a career. Key had been a key role player through his first three years at Tulsa Memorial. This season we saw Key shine bright in the starring role for the Chargers. It will be one of those what-ifs on the finish of his career. Locke and Dawsey will return for their senior years with bright spotlights on them next year. Dawsey is a big-time creator off the bounce with a nice finishing package. Locke will return as one of the best sharpshooters from behind the arc in the state. He really stepped up big for the Titans this season.

Second Team

[player_tooltip player_id="745370" first="Keyondre" last="Young"] Del City

[player_tooltip player_id="938856" first="Eli" last="Wallace"] Bishop Kelley

Mason Alexander Edison

Tanner Morris Shawnee

Darius Moore El Reno

[player_tooltip player_id="745370" first="Keyondre" last="Young"] highlights the second team for the Class 5A All-State. Young is going to be a player who brings in a ton of college interest this summer. The two eastside members Mason Alexander and [player_tooltip player_id="938856" first="Eli" last="Wallace"] had great years. Alexander is one of the hidden gems in the state of Oklahoma. Morris and Moore were difficult to defend each time out on the court this season.

Third Team

[player_tooltip player_id="931203" first="Brayshawn" last="Hubbard-Finch"] Tulsa Memorial

[player_tooltip player_id="931260" first="Ethan" last="Cole"] Collinsville

Quentin Woodson Carl Albert

[player_tooltip player_id="938848" first="Jaden" last="Harrell"] Carl Albert

Arzhonte Dallas Lawton Mac

Cole and Hubbard-Finch headline a very gifted third team in Class 5A. Hubbard-Finch fought through adversity and will be one of the guys who surprises people with his talent level in college. Cole and Collinsville just missed a state appearance, but his year should be noticed. Cole led his team in scoring and assists. Dallas is a young Guard the state better get to know quick with his big-time talents. Harrell put together a very productive year for the Titans. Woodson was the glue to the Titans success coming up so big for them this season.
