<p>Prep Hoops Missouri takes a look at the final wave of district championship games around the state in the Class 4-5 divisions. We have also included a pair of district championship games that will be played on Friday. Here is a preview of those games along with our fearless predictions:</p>
<h3>Class 4</h3>
<p>District 1: Cape Girardeau Notre Dame (23-4) vs. Cape Giardeau Central (22-5)), at Notre Dame, 7 p.m. The two city rivals staged an epic semifinal game last year with Cape Central winning in overtime. Cape Notre Dame features 6’4" 2020 guard [player_tooltip player_id="822867" first="Justice" last="Thoma"], 6’5" 2021 forward [player_tooltip player_id="824150" first="Caleb" last="Legrand"] and 5’10" 2020 guard Tyler Landwee. Cape Central’s has a dynamic backcourt in 5’7" 2020 [player_tooltip player_id="822898" first="Tyrus" last="Reddin"] and 6’2" Doreante’ Tucker. (Prediction: Cape Notre Dame)</p>
<p>District 5: MICDS (23-4) vs. Ladue (18-7), at Clayton, 6 p.m. - The battle of the Rams of Warson Road. MICDS won the first meeting in December. They are a young and talented team led by the 6’7" trio of 2021 [player_tooltip player_id="824175" first="Nick" last="Roper"], 2022 Brandon Mitchell-Day and 2021 [player_tooltip player_id="824141" first="Jack" last="Pronger"]. Ladue brings the Final Four experience back from last year’s team in the 2020 trio of 6’1" [player_tooltip player_id="580397" first="Jaylen" last="Boyd"], 6’6" [player_tooltip player_id="822884" first="Evan" last="Schneider"] and 6’3" Sam McIntosh. <p>District 6: McCluer vs. St. Dominic (16-10), at St. Charles, Saturday at 5 p.m. - The Comets are back after playing for a district title last year with 6’6" 2020 [player_tooltip player_id="822859" first="Devon" last="Barshow"], 6’2" 2020 [player_tooltip player_id="822886" first="Jeremiah" last="Johnson"] and 6’5" 2020 athlete Kam Hubbard. St. Dominic is a young, up and coming team with 6’4" 2022 forward Ryan Schwendeman and the 2021 backcourt duo of [player_tooltip player_id="824200" first="Anthony" last="Lewis"] and [player_tooltip player_id="824155" first="Brendan" last="Deters"]. <p>District 10: Rolla (11-16) vs. Salem (13-13), at Union, 7:15 p.m. - Rolla features an excellent prospect in versatile 6’5’ 2021 Trey Brown, who causes matchup problems with his size and 3-point shooting. Salem has a big force in the middle in the form of 6’9" 2021 center [player_tooltip player_id="824183" first="Lucas" last="Morrison"]. (Prediction: Rolla)</p>
<p>District 11: Logan-Rogersville (18-8) vs. Bolivar (20-5): at Marshfield, 7:30 p.m. -Logan-Rogersville is back in the mix again after a run to the Final Four last season. They are led by 6’5" 2020 wing [player_tooltip player_id="822860" first="Cade" last="Blevins"], along with 2020s Josh Linehan and Kannon Gipson. Bolivar is back in the championship mix again after a couple of Final Four trips in 2015 and 2017 The Liberators are led by 2020 guard Hunter Berry and talented 6’5" 2023 forward Kyle Pock. <p>District 12: Webb City (15-9) vs. Neosho (13-12), at Monett, 7:30 p.m. - Webb City looks to defend a district championship with its talented backcourt trio of 2020 [player_tooltip player_id="580388" first="Terrell" last="Kabala"], 2021 [player_tooltip player_id="824148" first="Khai" last="Howard"] and 2022 Cohl Vaden. (Prediction: Webb City)</p>
<p>District 14: Raytown South (22-3) vs. Center (16-9) at Oak Grove, 7:30 p.m. - RaySouth is one of the teams to watch in the hunt for a Final Four. The veteran Cardinals are led by 6’4" 2020 forward [player_tooltip player_id="822857" first="Mark" last="Cann"] and the talented backcourt duo of [player_tooltip player_id="580417" first="Dez" last="McKinney"] and Kobe Campbell. Center is built around the all-around talents of 6’4" 2021 forward Keydren Spiller and 6’6" 2022 foward Kortez Stephenson. (Prediction: Raytown South)</p>
<p>District 15: Lincoln Prep (15-10) vs. Van Horn (16-9), at ILFH, 7 p.m. - Conference champion Lincoln Prep looks to add a district championship to the trophy case with a talented crew that features Jontell Washington, E.J. Betts, Jaishon Jefferson and A’justin Pearson. Van Horn with counter with an athletic team, led by talented bucket-getter Jaiden Monday, who is capable of putting up some huge numbers. (Prediction: Lincoln Prep)</p>
<p>District 16: Kearney (12-13) vs. St. Joe Lafayette (17-9) at Kearney, 7 p.m., - The two teams met in the semifinals of the Kearney Tournament with Lafayette picking up the victory. Lafayette is led by 6’4" 2020 forward [player_tooltip player_id="822893" first="Kolten" last="Griffin"] and 6’0" 2020 guard T.J. Alexander. Kearney has one of the top scoring threats in the KC area in 5’11" 2020 guard [player_tooltip player_id="583729" first="Brennan" last="Watkins"]. (Prediction: St. Joe Lafayette)</p>

<p>District 2: Mehlville (20-5) vs. Oakville (15-12) at Vianney, 7 p.m. - A battle of district rivals as Mehlville looks to defend its title with its talented 2020 crew of 6’5" [player_tooltip player_id="580373" first="Dylan" last="Branson"], 7’0" [player_tooltip player_id="580372" first="Davion" last="Bradford"], 6’7" [player_tooltip player_id="822854" first="Lamontay" last="Daugherty"] and 6’2" King Waller. <p>District 4: Chaminade (18-6) vs. Webster Groves (20-7) at SLUH, 7 p.m. - The two teams staged an overtime thriller in district play last year. Chaminade is paced by 6’5" Kansas State recruit [player_tooltip player_id="822848" first="Luke" last="Kasubke"], 2020 wings [player_tooltip player_id="580400" first="Harrison" last="Vickers"], [player_tooltip player_id="822873" first="Matteus" last="Case"] and 6’8" 2022 forward Tarris Reed, Jr. Webster has put together another strong group with its guard play with 2020 [player_tooltip player_id="822942" first="Jacobie" last="Banks"], 2021 [player_tooltip player_id="824186" first="Anthony" last="Phieffer"] and 2022 Matt Enright. <p>District 6: CBC (18-7) vs. DeSmet (22-6) at Parkway Central, 6 p.m.- The Metro Catholic Conference rivals split a pair of meetings this season,so this is the rubber match. CBC is led by McDonald’s All-American [player_tooltip player_id="580366" first="Caleb" last="Love"], along with 5’9" 2022 guard Rob Martin and 6’3" 2021 forward [player_tooltip player_id="824140" first="Chevalier" last="Brenson"]. <p>District 7: Fort Zumwalt South (19-5) vs. Fort Zumwalt North (18-7) at Fort Zumwalt South, 7 p.m. - The two district rivals met last week with South taking the victory. South is led by 6’5" 2020 wing J.J. Schwepker and 2020 point guard Judah Nunn. North is led by 6’6" 2021 wing K.J. Lee and 6’7" 2020 post [player_tooltip player_id="822899" first="Mutjaba" last="Alkhaldi"]. (Prediction: Fort Zumwalt South)</p>
<p>District 8: Francis Howell (26-1) vs. Troy (15-12) at Troy, 7 p.m. - Howell has stormed through another big regular season with 6’4" 2020 [player_tooltip player_id="822883" first="Matt" last="Schark"] leading the way with 2021 guards Preston Fortner, [player_tooltip player_id="824217" first="Sam" last="Maddox"] and 6’10" 2021 center [player_tooltip player_id="583715" first="Sam" last="Thompson"]. <p>District 9: Rock Bridge (22-3) vs. Battle (17-7), at Battle, 7:30 p.m. - Defending state champion Rock Bridge is riding a 19-game winning streak into the finals. They have rebuild around a nice perimeter trio of 6’3" 2020 [player_tooltip player_id="822938" first="Brant" last="Bowers"], 5’7" 2021 [player_tooltip player_id="824128" first="Xavier" last="Sykes"] and 6’1" 2020 [player_tooltip player_id="822914" first="Charles" last="Wilson"]. Battle is looking for its fourth consecutive district championship. <p>District 13: Raymore-Peculiar (22-3)) vs. Lee’s Summit West (16-10) at Lee’s Summit, 7:45 p.m.- Ray-Pec has enjoyed a huge season behind its dynamic duo of 6’8" 2020 forward [player_tooltip player_id="580422" first="Kian" last="Scroggins"] and 6’2" 2020 guard Jordan Jermain. Lee’s Summit West is led by 6’2" 2020 point guard [player_tooltip player_id="580425" first="Tayven" last="Glasgow"] and 6’5" 2020 forward [player_tooltip player_id="822894" first="Tysen" last="Brennan"]. <p>District 15: Liberty (20-6) vs. William Chrisman (17-9), at Liberty, 7 p.m.- An excellent championship matchup that should go down to the wire. Liberty is led by 6’5" 2020 forward [player_tooltip player_id="580421" first="Grant" last="Stubbs"], who was a part of a Final Four run in 2018. <p>District 16: Park Hill South (20-6) vs. Staley (20-6) at Oak Park, 7 p.m. - Another tremendous matchup in the KC area with Park Hills South featuring 6’4" 2020 guard [player_tooltip player_id="610649" first="Jonathan" last="Thompson"] and 6’8" 2020 forward Dylan Broughman.
