6A State Tournament: Unsigned Seniors to Watch

<p>With many college programs at all levels finished with their regular season, a number of college coaches will be on hand at the 6A state tournament this weekend on the campus of the University of Portland. Here are some of the top unsigned seniors that will be trying to make one last impression at the Chiles Center.</p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="841386" first="Micah" last="Garrett"] (2020 West Linn)</strong> - Garrett has put things together his senior year to be an all-around scorer, both with his athletic drives to the hoops and with his outside shooting. He’s capable of putting the Lions on his back and leading them to wins.</p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="841388" first="Bryson" last="Crockett"] (2020 West Linn)</strong> - Crockett has started to round into form after missing time here and there this season since being cleared to play after knee surgery. The lefty wing has a good stroke from the outside and has improved his ability to create off of the dribble.</p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="841397" first="DeRay" last="Seamster"] (2020 Central Catholic)</strong> - Seamster has been solid for the Rams all year long while playing both guard spots. With fellow senior [player_tooltip player_id="535851" first="Isaiah" last="Amato"] out for the state tournament, Seamster will be relied upon for his ball-handling and passing.</p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="625653" first="Matthew" last="Levis"] (2020 Jesuit)</strong> - The Metro League Player of the Year has been a lockdown defender, arguably the top one in the state this year. He will lead the charge for the number one seeded Crusaders.</p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="855907" first="Joey" last="Wolcott"] (2020 Barlow)</strong> - Barlow is obviously headed by guards [player_tooltip player_id="796229" first="Jesse" last="White"] and [player_tooltip player_id="625622" first="Evan" last="Inglesby"], but Wolcott has proven himself to be a great third wheel. The 6-foot-4 senior has been shooting the ball well and he has the athleticism to finish at the rim.</p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="841394" first="Jack" last="Chlumak"] (2020 Lake Oswego)</strong> - A versatile player on both ends of the floor, Chlumak has stepped up with his scoring as needed but contributes in so many ways. A high-academic performer whose body and game have plenty of room to grow.</p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="855887" first="Cole" last="Hardy"] (2020 South Salem)</strong> - Hardy transferred in from Salem Academy and the step up in competition - and change in position from previously playing the post - didn’t seem to affect him one bit. The 6-foot-3 guard has good size on the wing and he shoots and scores it pretty well.</p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="625639" first="Trey" last="Galbraith"] (2020 South Salem)</strong> - Galbraith has largely sacrificed his scoring this season to serve as a facilitator on the deep Saxons roster. He can still shoot it well though as evidenced by a late-season 10 three-point field goal performance late in the year.</p>
