<p> La Verne – Senior guard <strong>Ty Harper</strong> earned the division’s Most Outstanding Player honor after he and his Santa Clarita Christian High teammates knocked off Washington Prep, 75-52, in the Dec. 30 championship game of the fourth The Classic at Damien.</p>
<p> Harper and his junior teammate, forward <strong>Josh O’Garro</strong> (another all-tourney selection) scored 19 and 23 points, respectively, in the finale.</p>
