Tate Davis, 6’0, G, 2021, Ingalls
One of two standout performers from Ingalls, Davis has been impressive with his hard-nosed mentality and willingness to play as hard as he can the entire game. Davis is playing well across the boards, securing rebounds, distributing the ball, forcing turnovers and contesting shots, all at a high level. He’s leading his team in scoring and doing so by living inside the perimeter. Davis is averaging 17.5 points, 6.5 assists, 6.8 rebounds, 4.8 steals and one block per game. He’s hitting 51 percent from the field and has shown great resilience.
Josh Jordan, 6’3, G, 2021, Salina South
Jordan is a smart guard who can create openings and score well in transition. He has good speed and gets a lot of touches due to his ball security, vision, eagerness around the basket and decision making with the ball. He can score from distance and connect from the free throw line, but his play inside the arc stands out. Jordan is averaging 16.3 points, three assists and 4.5 rebounds per game. He also applies strong pressure and can force turnovers.
Devin Loudermilk, 6’3, G/F, 2021, West Elk
Loundermilk is a nice small forward prospect who has good size and the ability to play with and without the ball. He moves well off the ball and can create some with his handles and get to the basket and finish. He also has good vision and plays an unselfish game and can be physical underneath the basket and secure rebounds or block shots or come away with the ball. Loundermilk is averaging 16.5 points, four assists, 4.8 rebounds and 2.5 steals per game. He’s currently shooting 54 percent from the field and 47 percent from the 3-point line
Harlan Obioha, 7’0, C, 2021, Hoxie
Also a football prospect, Obioha is an interesting player with elite height and impressive length. He is a physical player underneath the basket and can connect from the free-throw line as well. He has strong hands and good balance for his position and understands how to put himself in position to score and contribute on both sides of the floor. He’s averaging 28 points and 15 rebounds at break.
Josh Stout, 6’1, G/F, 2021, Bucklin
Another Class 1A standout player from Bucklin who runs hard and can get up and make plays in transition. He’s a solid ball handler and can create with his speed and his dribble. He plays physical for his size and can be counted on inside due to his strength and aggressive nature. He’s currently averaging 13.4 points, 3.4 assists, 3.2 rebounds, 3.6 steals and two blocks per game. He can make shots from distance and knows how to stay productive on both sides of the ball.
