Missing their entire frontcourt due to either injury or the flu, Class 3A No. 4 Franklin County suffered an 87-78 double overtime loss to East Jackson. In the defeat, Titus Brown did everything he could to lift the Lions with 32 points, 3 rebounds and 3 assists. Brown is a tough-nosed scorer that can fill it up from all three levels. He’s a shifty finisher at the rim and a quiet yet fierce competitor.

With 32 points, 6 assists and 4 steals, Jordan Jefferson got Osborne back in the win column with a 95-75 blowout of Dalton. Jefferson is a long combo guard that gets downhill in a hurry. He is averaging 15.6 points per game and is worthy of D-II looks.

2022 6-2 PG Scooter Henderson – Kell

The relentless five-star guard went for 41 points in Kell’s crucial 70-67 overtime win against Hiram. Known for his aggressiveness and athleticism, Henderson buried 5 threes to balance the onslaught. As Henderson continues to grow the consistency of his jump shot and vary speeds with the ball, he will continue to ascend national rankings.

2020 6-6 G Eugene Brown III – Southwest DeKalb – Ohio State

Though his senior season hasn’t gone as smoothly as it could have if UGA-signee KD Johnson didn’t transfer out, Southwest DeKalb is still 11-8 and Eugene Brown has still shined. In a 56-55 overtime win at Colombia, the future Buckeye poured in 30 points, 11 rebounds and 3 blocks. For the first time in his high school career Brown has been the number one option for his father. Brown has shouldered the load this season and his newfound role as alpha dog will only behoove him come college.

2020 5-10 G Brandon Thomas – Marion County

Brandon Thomas pumped in 44 points in an 89-83 win over Central-Talbotton. The victory pushes the Eagles to 8-3 overall and 4-1 in Region 4-A play.
