<p>The first boys' matchup of the MLK Dream Classic in Tempe featured a close contest between Hamilton (ranked No. 1 in 6A at the time) and Mountain Pointe. Hamilton came away with a 65-57 victory, and here are some of the players that stood out in the game:</p>
<p><strong>Jamar Brown - Hamilton</strong></p>
<p>He started off the game with a tremendous layup in traffic, and took off from there. He proved to have some nice handles, while also making passes to teammates for good shots on the perimeter and leading the team in points.</p>
<p><strong>Omar Knight - Hamilton</strong></p>
<p>He, like his backcourt mate, played well as a guard. He made an impact defensively, causing havoc for opposing guards attempting to get into the paint. He had a few quality finishes, as well.</p>
<p><strong>Jason Kimbrough - MP</strong></p>
<p>Kimbrough, besides leading the offense by moving the ball around to teammates and being aggressive, played some tough defense and caused some steals in the Husky backfield that led to transition buckets.</p>
<p><strong>Zereoue Williams - MP</strong></p>
<p>Williams played good defense, too, getting out on shooters as well as providing an inside presence. He made some tough rebounds, and showed solid footwork and finishing in the post for a few buckets.</p>
