<p>It was a busy week of basketball action over the holiday season! Let’s now examine the superlatives from the events that we attended. Here are our <strong>Holiday Tournament: Top Glue Guys</strong>!</p>

<p><strong>Sean Sullivan (St. Charles East)</strong></p>
<p>Sullivan is a versatile forward that can stretch the floor and is sneaky putting it on the deck.</p>
<p> </p>
<p><strong>Jacob Ittounas (Stevenson)</strong></p>
<p>Ittounas is definitely the glue that holds Stevenson together. The senior wing does a little bit of everything including shooting and rebounding.</p>
<p> </p>
<p><strong>Sean Tumilty (Willowbrook)</strong></p>
<p>This is a super tough and competitive guard that is the heart of Willowbrook’s team.</p>
<p> </p>
<p><strong>Mac Quast (Hinsdale Central)</strong></p>
<p>Quast brings a lot of intangibles to the table as an undersized post. Can score, board, and is tough as nails.</p>
<p> </p>

<p>This 6’2” guard is extremely crafty with the ball. He brings toughness and the ability to get to the free throw line.</p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="916704" first="Jason" last="Bergstrom"] (Niles Notre Dame)</strong></p>
<p>With so many high profile prospects on Notre Dame it is Bergstrom that holds it all together. On other teams he would have a much bigger role, but he is content on being the guy that holds everything together.</p>

<p><strong>Moses Akinboboye (Niles North)</strong></p>
<p>This Niles North thick bodied and undersized post outworks his opponents and plays bigger than his height with his all-out energy.</p>
<p> </p>

<p>Bridges is a tough and competitive wing that can shoot the ball. Does little things that sometimes go unnoticed.</p>

<p>Tyler is a player that brings athleticism in the backcourt and always seems to make a key play.</p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="761224" first="Justin" last="Moore"] (Bloom)</strong></p>
<p>Moore was a starter last year that has come off the bench with the addition Shumate. He still is a huge impact player for this team with his shooting, passing, and leadership.</p>

<p><strong>Kyren Gardner (OPRF)</strong></p>
<p>Gardner is a mighty mouse with is lack of size, but the toughness he brings to the table is huge. Rebounds and is a tough defender.</p>
<p> </p>

<p>Nelson is a lengthy spot up shooter who knows his role for SCN.</p>

<p>Baker quietly produces for his squad. The lefty point guard hits open shots and is a winner.</p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="995997" first="Bryson" last="Ivy"] (Belleville East)</strong></p>
<p>Ivy brings a lot of intensity to his team. Always seems to be around the basketball when we see them play.</p>

<p><strong>Maurice Clay (Hyde Park)</strong></p>
<p>Clay is a tough forward that consistently produces for Hyde Park.</p>
<p> </p>
<p><strong>Jovon White (Perspectives)</strong></p>
<p>White is a thick bodied five man that rebounded and threw several outstanding outlet passes that led to buckets.</p>
<p> </p>
<p><strong>J. Caleb Slawinski (St. Joseph)</strong></p>
<p>This small forward has quality size and can leave an impact on both ends of the floor.</p>
<p> </p>

<p>Perona does a little bit of everything, but is really productive as a wing rebounder.</p>

<p><strong>Kendall Nichols (Morton)</strong></p>
<p>High energy forward that runs the floor hard and can hit an open shot.</p>
<p> </p>
<p><strong>Michael Bobber (Andrew)</strong></p>
<p>Power forward that is crafty as a scorer and rebounds well in his area.</p>
<p> </p>

<p>Davis is a spot up shooting threat that can knock down triples off the catch and push with speed.</p>

<p><strong>Keon Mitchell (Eisenhower)</strong></p>
<p>Uber bouncy four man that plays with a lot of energy and hits free throws.</p>
