Raeshon Riddick, senior, Manhattan:
Riddick made the all-tournament team at the Dodge City Tournament of Champions. Manhattan ran into a buzz saw in Miege, one of the top ranked teams in the state. But Riddick ripped Maize for 19 points, and finished the tournament off with 11 against Shawnee Heights.
Owen Braxmeyer, junior, Manhattan:
The 6-foot junior popped in 15 against Maize. He added 8 against Shawnee Heights.
Skyler Douglas, senior, Emporia:
Douglas went for 22 in the matchup with Olathe North in the Ralph Miller Classic. He was supported by 21 from Charles Snyder.
Qua’Vez Humphreys, senior, Junction City:
Junction City was tied at halftime, but ultimately was no match for Free State, the eighth-ranked team in the state of Kansas. 6-foot-2 senior Humphreys accounted for 10 of the Blue Jays’ 38 points. He threw in 13 more in the overtime win over Seaman in the McPherson Invitational.
Howard Johnson, sophomore, Junction City:
When Humphreys was tied up in the matchup with McPherson, Johnson stepped up with 17 against the Bullpups.
