Gathering a list of players and choosing which rank best fits the individual was a tall task, but we do our best to keep them updated every three months. Our recent update includes an increase in the number of players ranked from 80 to 100. Here we resume our breakdown series by taking a closer look at 7 newcomers.
#17 | TOBI NNADOZIE | 6’4″ F | MT. CARMEL
Nnadozie has made a significant impact at Mt. Carmel this season. The Perry Hall transfer has added the most value defensively but is also showing that he can score when he needs to.
#34 | JOEL TURAY | 6’7″ C | JOHN CARROLL
Turay is a valuable part of the Patriots’ frontcourt rotation. He is a forceful paint presence who brings energy off the bench.
#42 | ALEX CADET | 6’6″ SF | TAKOMA ACADEMY
Cadet is an intriguing long-term prospect who has a good combination of size and skill. He is also very active defensively and capable of protecting the rim or moving his feet and defending on the perimeter.
#45 | GIDEON SAHLEN | 6’9″ F | BULLIS
Sahlen has served admirably as the Bulldogs’ primary rim protector. He’s also showed the ability to score with his back to the basket but also pass out of the post.
#48 | WARREN MOUGANDA | 6’2″ G | PALLOTTI
Mouganda is a physical specimen who is looking like a solid three-and D prospect. He’s a good shooter with nice defensive potential.
#56 | TRE POWELL | 6’2″ G | RICHARD MONTGOMERY
Powell has played at a high-level for the Rockets in his first year on varsity. He’s been a reliable scorer from all three levels.
#68 | MATTHEW MALONE | 6’3″ F | GRACE BRETHREN
Malone is a long-limbed forward who is raw offensively, but gives tremendous effort defensively. He can rebound out of his area, block shots, and is best offensively when he gets out on the break.
