The Wright County West Preview

<p>The Wright County West Conference is an eight team league that Litchfield, Mound-Westonka, and New London-Spicer all shared a piece of last year as champs. Here is our league preview.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Conference Commentary</strong></p> <p>Top Ten Level: Mound-Westonka, Rockford</p> <p>The White Hawks return seven of their top eight players from last year's 20 win team and they enter the season as the 8th ranked team in Class AAA.  Expectations are high and the program is really building. Rockford not only brings back a healthy part of last year's roster but they also get Luke Pepin back from injury and have a huge frontline.  The talent is there for a great year. </p> <p>Compete with Most:  Litchfield, New London-Spicer, GSL, Annandale, Watertown-Mayer</p> <p>The Dragons lost four staters and their top three scorers but bring back enough talent to be a competitive, solid team in the league. New London-Spicer has nearly an entire rotation to replace so they will need a lot of solid replacements to step in from a good JV. Coming off a solid season the Panthers have 20 win type of expectations and with a good mix upperclassmen and a standout sophomore things look good.
