The gift of a bucket: Top Arizona assisters

<p>Through about the first month of the season, 17 AIA boys' players have given the gift of an assist at a rate of 5 or more per game. </p>
<p>The top twelve (there is a four-way tie for ninth place) in the AIA round out as follows:</p>
<ul>
<li><strong>Dayton Harris</strong> - Sr - Skyline - 9.3</li>
<li><strong>Zeke Stewart</strong> - Jr - Valley Union - 7.7</li>
<li><strong>Francisco Lugo</strong> - Sr - Douglas - 7.3</li>
<li><strong>Kota Benson</strong> - Fr - Baboquivari - 6.9</li>

</ul>
<p>Of the top 12, six are seniors, four are juniors, one is a sophomore and one is a freshman.</p>
<p>Three play 1A ball, two in 3A, three in 4A, three in 5A, and Harris sits alone atop the leaderboard as the only 6A player in the top 12 and only 6A player for Skyline.</p>
