The Team Rose Shootout this past weekend was a tremendous two day event featuring 14 games and 28 teams. It was a great evaluation tool for us to see a ton of quality prospects. Now it is time to dive into our superlatives from the event. Today we have Team Rose: Glue Guys!

Jamir Truman (Riverside Broofield – 2020)

This was my second time seeing this combo forward play this season. I like what he brings to the table as a versatile chess piece that can play inside-out.

Eric Stemper (Lane Tech – 2020)

Stemper is a scrappy guard that knows how to get on the glass, plays tough D, and can score a little.

Robert Stroud (Danville – 2020)

Utility guy for Danville that brings some size and the ability to finish around the hoop on dump off passes.

John Ittounas (Stevenson – 2020)

This senior is the third primary scorer for the Patriots with the way he shoots it off the catch and mixes in scoop shots.

Armond Williams (Curie – 2020)

Williams is an athletic and tough two way combo forward that rebounds, defends, and scores in transition.

Luke Collins (St. Ignatius – 2020)

Collins is a tough kid that rebounds well and always seems to be in the right spot to make the correct play that leads to winning plays.

Jason Bergstrom (Niles Notre Dame – 2020)

Bergstrom is sometimes over shadowed by the junior class at Niles Notre Dame, but this Illinois-Springfield commit is a key cog for this group. He is a plus shooter with strength.

Fred Poole (Simeon – 2021)

Poole was very active in the Simeon win over St. Rita. Scored from a number of different areas on the floor and did a nice job rebounding for a wing.
