Brown has already recorded games of 27 against Coon Rapids, 21 points versus St. Louis Park, and 18 against Hopkins on his way to a 15 point per game start.
“The season has been decent so far other then the East Ridge game,” Brown told Prep Hoops. “We’ve played well as a team and have been playing good team ball and I’ve had a couple of big games from it.”
The big highlight was 27 against the Cards but his most important performance was the several threes in a double figure win over Hopkins.
“My individual goal is to be able to reach my max potential whatever that is any way possible,” Brown said. Our team goal is win the state championship”
Park Center entered the year number one after ending last season earning third place in the state. They’ve only lost three games in the past two seasons but the Pirates picked up the one loss recently to East Ridge dropping them in the team rankings but PC is of course still one of the few state favorites.
So much is expected from the Pirates because of the team success they’ve had, and because the talent on their roster. Brown was offered by Denver and Minnesota-Duluth this summer among other programs.
“I want to be comfortable with the school, the coaches, the players and a place I feel that I would belong and have a good college experience,” Brown said. “Mainly it has been Duluth and SDSU and a couple other schools but just inconsistent.”
Brown took some visits later in the summer including a trip to UMD.
“What stood out for me on the visit is how the coaches interacted with me and the quality of the culture at the school,” said Brown.
