Williams Jr. is uniquely talented. He’s an energy player at all times and his motor rubs off on his teammates. Williams Jr. is more than willing to hit the floor for a loose ball and make a hustle play. He has a nice jumper that he hits with consistency and has range extending to the arc. Williams Jr. is a versatile scorer. In addition to his jumper, he can put the ball on the floor and get to the rim. He attacks with his athleticism.
Williams Jr. is always looking to improve and experience big moments. He’s currently focused on becoming more shifty and creative with his dribble drive and handles. Williams Jr. considers winning a Class C state championship in 2018 (his sophomore season) as his top moment in basketball. This season, he’s eagerly anticipating a key matchup against Ypsilanti-Lincoln.
The recruiting process has already started for Williams Jr.. He’s being actively recruited by Morehouse College. More schools will be entering the mix as his senior season plays out. Williams Jr. has a lot to offer a team at the next level. In addition to his skills mentioned earlier, he will provide a college program with an energetic and intense defender.
Williams Jr. is driven by his goals. He wants to help his DEPSA team win a Division 3 district, regional, and state championships. Williams dreams of playing in the NBA someday, but has goals away from the game as well. He wants to earn a degree in sports medicine and become a doctor.
