The Ozark Mountain Shootout once again put on a fabulous event over the weekend from Glendale High School in Springfield. With top teams and tremendous talent, this has been one of the most anticipated early season shootouts in the region and it delivered in a big way. Prep Hoops was happy to be in the building covering the action, and we will be releasing several lists of the top talents in the next couple days. First up, our All-Senior Team:

MVP: 6'5 Tyler Mcghie - Guyer (TX)

Tyler was the best player for the team who went 2-0 with a pair of very impressive wins at the Ozark Mountain Shootout. He is a smooth bucket getter with a lethal shooting touch that can burn up the nets in a hurry. The cerebral wing did not force the issue, but was quietly and efficiently dominant in both games, and neither of Guyer's opponents had an answer for him. Job well done

1st Team:

6'4 Caleb Love (CBC) had the deepest range and smoothest deep ball in the shootout. The best guard in St. Louis put on a show against Duncanville with 33 points. North Carolina is getting a good one.

6'7 Micah Peavy (Duncanville) is terrifyingly athletic. Someone with his length and athletic gifts should not have a plus jump-shot and point guard like ball skills, but Peavy is the complete package. Chris Beard and Lubbock are going to love Micah Peavy.

6'7 Chris Moore (West Memphis) put up a monster double-double in a win over Putnam City West, which is status quo for the big man. He is a monster in the paint that plays with physicality and a high motor. He's a perfect fit at Auburn.

6'6 Markell Hood (Blue Valley NW) is the real deal. He has some Draymond Green to him and flirted with a triple-double in the win over Willard Thursday. His turnaround jumper in the paint is unstoppable, a very gifted passer, and he can stretch it to three.

6'6 Daniel Abreu (Willard) is the most efficient offensive assassin in the state. Plus percentages across the board. Positional versatility. You don't even realize it until you look up and see that he has 30 on you. Daniel is a stud.

Honorable Mention:

6'0 Glenn Valentine (Cardinal Ritter)

6'1 Isaac Hill (Glendale)

6'4 Rondel Walker (Putnam City West)

6'0 Elijah Bridgers (Kickapoo)

6'5 AJ Eliott (Ozark)
