Lucas Henderson 5’9, Ypsilanti Community High
Henderson had a strong performance in the Tuesday night matchup vs the Vikings leading all scorers with 22pts. The 5’9 guard is very smooth in his approach to the game, never getting rattled when the Vikings picked up the intensity of their defense Henderson still kept the game in his control the entire night to cap off the 20 point victory.
Lance Maurer 6’4, Ypsilanti Community High
Maurer does it all for the Grizzlies, the junior finished with 11 points in the victory while also coming up with 3 blocks in the contest Maurer owns the defensive for the program he uses length and athleticism to guard anyone in front of him. The 6’4 forward is looking to have an amazing season.
Daivion Boleware 6’4, Jackson
Boleware is a versatile forward who can step out and knock down the three and extend every defense. The 6’4 forward led the Vikings in scoring with 9 points, while attacking the paint using his athleticism and smooth touch around the rim trying to guide the Vikings past the Grizzlies.
Ramiero Owens 6’0, Jackson
Owens has shown improvement this season, being the early spark for the team as he finished with 7 points against the Grizzlies. Owens sparked an early Vikings run off the bench with his high intensity and attacking the rim. You should look forward to Owens playing a bigger role for the program as the season goes on.
