Here is a list of 5 Juniors that are making a point to be known this season. These 5 prospects have had a tremendous start to their Junior season and can play at the next level. College coaches should have these prospects on their radar.

Jakobe Flores 5’8 PG | St. Thomas Episcopal

This guard may be a little undersized but he is a bucket for his team. He is one of the best shooters from deep not just in the Greater Houston Area or his class but the entire state. He also has really good ball speed and can create his own shot off the dribble as well as cath and shoot on the move. He is averaging 25 points per game on the season and averages 6 Mase trey balls a game.

Jake Arnold 6’2 SG | Katy Taylor HS PHTX100

Jake really made big strides throughout the Spring/Summer for Texas Takeover Elite 2021 who also played upon the 17U level in the Prep Hoops Circuit. He has been on a tare this High School season as well. He is another one of the top shooters in the state. He has the ability to get to the basket as well because of his shooting ability. He is averaging 25.5 points per game on the season.

PJ Neal 6’2 PG | Legacy School of Sports Science PHTX100

PJ has been solid this season for the Titans. The physical guard has been bullying his way to the rim with quality paint touches to feed his teammates. He has been playing a lot more comfortable this year. We will keep a close eye on him as he finishes the second half of the season up and heads into his final Spring/Summer Season.

Chris Felix 6’3 SG | Westbury Christian PHTX100

Chris is having a great junior campaign so far for his new High School team. He has the ball in his hands more so he’s able to control the game more. He has shown his ability to create for himself off the dribble and be dominate while attacking the rim. His mid-range game has also improved since last season. He is averaging 19.2 points per game and 5.8 rebounds in the season.

Johnathan Massie 6’3 SG | St. Thomas Catholic PHTX100 as seen in the picture

John John is another transfer prospect whose move was truly the best thing for him. He has been very dominating for St. Thomas Catholic this year and has put up some big numbers throughout the season. His ability to score the ball on all levels of the floor and play aggressive on-ball defense has truly opened up a lot of people’s eyes. He is averaging 19 points per game, 7 rebounds per game, 4 assists per game, and 3 steals per game.

For more information on any of these prospects from strengths, weakness, and grades contact me via twitter @GDayHoopScout
