<p>The first slate of games directly after the Winter break will come to an end on Saturday. Here is Saturday’s late afternoon schedule:</p>

<p><strong>Holy Family (3-2) vs Frederick (5-1)</strong></p>
<p><strong>Garrett Green (2020 G)</strong> leads the Holy Family Tigers in scoring, averaging 19 points a game. Teammate <strong>Blake Hammond (2021 G)</strong> has an average of 7.4 rebounds with 5.6 points a game.</p>
<p>The Frederick Warriors will be expecting big things out of <strong>Joe Cartelli (2020 G/F)</strong> with his 19 points and 5.7 rebounds per game average. <strong>Davis Richard (2020 G)</strong> has 12.7 points and 5.8 rebounds a game, making him another addition to a powerful Tigers team. Can Holy Family pull off the upset?</p>

<p><strong>Mead (5-1) vs Berthoud (1-6)</strong></p>
<p>The Mead Mavericks have a serious scoring arsenal on their roster. <strong>Elijah Knudsen (2022 G)</strong> is averaging 14.4 points a game while <strong>Nick Jacobs (2020 G) </strong>is one of four players averaging over 13 points a game.</p>
<p><strong>Jonah Doyle (2021 G)</strong> and the Berthoud Spartans will have their work cut out for them in this game. Doyle is leading his team in scoring, averaging 11.7 points a game so far this season.</p>

<p><strong>Deer Trail (3-1) vs Belleview Christian (4-2)</strong></p>
<p><strong>Dayne Woodis (2022 G/F) </strong>has recorded a double-double in three out of Deer Trail’s four games this season, bring his averages to 14.3 points and 10.3 rebounds a game. <strong>Brett Stoumbaugh (2020 F)</strong> has also been lighting it up with an average of 15.3 points and 8.5 rebounds a game.</p>
<p>Belleview Christian’s <strong>Logan Owen (2021 F/G)</strong>, who has averaged 26.2 points and 9.3 rebounds a game, will be looking to improve the Bruins’ record with the help of teammate <strong>Nathaniel Owen (2023 G/F) </strong>and his 11.7 points and 4.3 rebounds per game average. This game should make for an exciting show.</p>

<p><strong>Arapahoe (6-1) vs Grand Junction (1-8)</strong></p>
<p>The #6 Arapahoe Warriors will be leaning on <strong>Korey Hess (2020 G)</strong> and <strong>Bryson Stephens (2020 G)</strong> to help lead his team to victory on Saturday. Hess is averaging 18.7 points and 3.1 rebounds a game while Stephens has put up 17.7 points and 4.4 rebounds a game.</p>

<p><strong>Discovery Canyon (4-2) vs Palmer (4-3)</strong></p>
<p><strong>Brandon Clawson (2020 C)</strong>, <strong>Ethan Hall (2020 G)</strong>, and the Discovery Canyon Thunder will be fighting to keep their winning streak alive. Clawson is averaging 12.4 points and 7.4 rebounds a game. Hall has recorded 14 points and 4.2 rebounds per game so far this season.</p>
<p>The Palmer Terrors and <strong>Kolben Barney (2021 F)</strong> will not make this an easy game for their opponent. Barney has an average of 17.3 points and 4.3 rebounds a game. Teammate <strong>Dominant Valverde-Priester (2020 F)</strong> will be looking to continue his dominant presence at the rim while adding to his 8.1 rebounds and 6 points game average.</p>

<p><strong>Pueblo Central (5-5) vs Northfield (7-2)</strong></p>
<p>Pueblo Central’s <strong>Steven Hemphill (2021 G)</strong> is leading the Wildcats in scores with 136 points on the season, bringing his average to 15.1 points while shooting 81% from the free-throw line. <strong>Kyle Bigley (2022 F)</strong> has put up 111 points this season, putting his average at 12.3 points a game. Hemphill and Bigley are two out of three Wildcats with over 100 points on the season.</p>
<p><strong>Nahsyah Bolar (2020 F)</strong> recorded three double-doubles over the first six games on the season. With an asset like<strong> Bally Diakite (2020 F/C)</strong> being a part of the roster, expect for the Northfield Nighthawks to be tough competition.</p>

<p><strong>Rock Canyon (6-3) vs Grandview (5-3)</strong></p>
<p><strong>Jalen Ashley (2020 G)</strong> and <strong>Tommy Rau (2020 C)</strong> will be looking to improve Rock Canyon’s record on Saturday. Ashley averaged 15.5 points and 4.5 rebounds over the first six games of the season. Rau has been a force at the rim, putting up 8.5 points and pulling down 8.8 rebounds in his first six games of the season.</p>
<p>Grandview’s <strong>Caleb McGill (2020 F/C)</strong> has 16.6 points and 7.6 rebounds per game, making him a legitimate force on the court. Teammate <strong>Lian Ramiro (2020 C) </strong>has made a habit of putting points up, averaging 14.3 points a game. Expect an exciting game with this one.</p>
