<p>We are almost at the end of Week 4 of Indiana high school hoops but this loaded weekend is just getting started. Here are some takeaways from Friday night’s action. </p>
<p><b>Colson Montgomery sets a career high </b></p>
<p>Tonight saw Southridge defeat Shoals in a blowout win, 88-49. The story of the night, however, was not just the dominate win but the dominate night junior SG Colson Montgomery had. This 2021 prospect had a career night of scoring 41 points in tonight's win. Montgomery has always had tremendous scoring ability but tonight was a night he showed it. </p>
<p><b>Tyler Phelps has big double-double</b></p>
<p>2020 PF Tyler Phelps of Mater Dei had another great night as his high school career continues to thrive. He had a huge double-double tonight adding 27 points and 13 rebounds. Phelps is the type of big man that is pretty much an all-around player that plays great on both sides of the ball. With Phelps' double-double, it helped Mater Dei defeat North Posey 73-61. </p>
<p><b>Grant Niehaus drops 36 points </b></p>
<p>Washington defeated Evansville Bosse 69-65 in what was a very close battle between two good squads. Prospect Grant Niehaus was without-a-doubt the MVP of the game tonight with his 36 points he dropped. Niehaus is a prospect that is relatively under the radar. Here is hoping that with this performance, he starts getting more of notice. </p>
