The Arby’s Classic matured into a semifinal bracket by the end of Saturday night. Beyond the team results there emerged numerous stars Saturday day and night. Tennessee-based teams that competed Saturday included: Tennessee, Knoxville Webb School, Bartlett, Greeneville, Elizabethton, Dobyns-Bennett, Knoxville Webb.

Camden McElhaney (Sevier County)
The offensive impact of Camden McElhaney (17 points) was significant. He also tied with Wes Maples for the team lead in rebounds (6).
Nico Ashley (Elizabethton)
Ashley recorded 15 points and actually finished with half of his team’s points in a dismantling at the hands of the Sevier County Smokey Bears.
Abiah Releford (Dobyns-Bennett)
Releford scored 14 points in a blowout loss to Mentor of Ohio. Turnovers were an enormous problem for the Indians.
Luke Floriea (Mentor-OH)
The Mentor Cardinals advanced to the Arby’s Classic Semifinals with a steady drubbing of Dobyns-Bennett. Floriea finished with 14 points, 7 assists, and 5 steals.
J.J. Platt (Webb-Bell Buckle)
J.J. Platt finished with 32 points on 44% shooting. He also poked free 4 steals and handed off 4 assists. Most impressively, Platt earned his way to 18 free throw attempts and put the opponents’ leading scorer in significant foul trouble.
Colby Jones (Mountain Brook-AL)
Jones scored 20 points and is averaging 22.5 points for the event. Jones is signed to Xavier University.
Tristin Maxwell (North Meck)
Remarkably soft touch on that jumper. Maxwell scored 22 points on just 14 shot attempts. He made 62.5% of his three-pointers and created numerous problems for an quick defensive unit.
Jordan Jenkins (Webb-Bell Buckle)
Power guard Jordan Jenkins finished with 16 points and three rebounds. He struggled to hit the outside shot though (1-7 from 3-point land).
