Pine Forest HS Freshman Guard Isaiah Washington: Still battling a hip injury from a previous game, we didn’t get the opportunity to see him at full strength but he had some moments where he showed his potential. His ability to beat players off the dribble and find ways to score helped Pine Forest to make some runs on a few occasions. His potential is scary due to the fact that he can play on and off the ball, using his ballhandling ability as well as his vision/passing skills.
Hoggard HS Sophomore Wing Jacob Fisher: Solid overall showing with nice potential to be a wing prospect if he continues to work. He looks to make the right plays at the right time, is an unselfish player and does a nice job of moving without the ball.
Southern Lee HS Junior Guard Quashawn Williams: With the graduation of quite a few seniors on the team, he has stepped into the role of being the floor general and making plays. His impact on both ends of the floor is what impressed us the most, not only being efficient on offensive but providing constant pressure on the defensive side of the ball.
Hoggard HS Junior Guard Brady Rankin: Three point shooting is definitely a trait that you will see from him, he can get hot in a moment and knock down a bunch of treys in a short span of time. Over this season he has put together some big time performances and although he didn’t have his best showing, you could see the skillset and potential without a doubt.
Middle Creek HS Junior Guard Tharius Suggs: Just about all the ballhandling duties fall on his shoulders for his team as well as scoring from the guard position. Overall he was solid , using his speed and upper body strength to make plays. He didn’t turn the ball over often and plays the game with a high motor , which only helps to get his team going.
