All Football Team: Defense

<p>Today is National Signing Day for college football.  On this day every year we release our <strong>All-Basketball Football Team</strong>.  To be considered for this the player must be a top 100 ranked basketball prospect, but would make an outstanding football player.  Here is our Defense!</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Defensive End</strong></p> <p>Amar Augillard (Zion Benton)</p> <p>Agulliard is a big and fast wing that is the ideal defensive end at the college level.  Elite athleticism and quick twitch ability along with the ability to bull rush.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Defensive End</strong></p> <p>RJ Ogom (Homewood Flossmoor)</p> <p>Ogom is a tough and physical force on the hardwood that translates excellent on the football field as a defensive end that can rush the passer and play the run.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Defensive Tackle</strong></p> <p>Julian Campbell (Palatine)</p> <p>Campbell is a wide body that could take up multiple blockers opening up roaming for his linebackers while also having some quickness to get work done up field.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Defensive Tackle</strong></p> <p>Kendale Anderson (Leo)</p> <p>Anderson is a strong and physical kid that presents the ability to get up field with his pass rush and chase down running backs through traffic.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Outside Linebacker</strong></p> <p>Tevin Smith (Danville)</p> <p>Smith is a well-built kid that can chase down running backs and has the athleticism to cover tight ends in the pass game.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Middle Linebacker</strong></p> <p>Jaylin Gibson (Evanston)</p> <p>Gibson is a smart hooper that will be our quarterback defensively making calls and being able to tackle in the run game.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Outside Linebacker</strong></p> <p>Ahamad Bynum (Simeon)</p> <p>Bynum is a strong and athletic prospect that fits perfectly at outside linebacker with his ability to run, tackle, and cover.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Cornerback</strong></p> <p>DJ Steward (Whitney Young)</p> <p>Steward is an ultra-smooth 6’3” guard that has ideal size and athletic gifts to be a lock down corner.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Cornerback</strong></p> <p>Tyler Beard (Whitney Young)</p> <p>Beard brings leaping ability to high point and the power needed to be active against the run.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Strong Safety</strong></p> <p>Ramean Hinton (Curie)</p> <p>Hinton would be a great strong safety as he can cover ground and lay the hammer down on opposing receivers.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Free Safety</strong></p> <p>Adam Miller (Morgan Park)</p> <p>Miller can cover a lot of ground on the back end of our defense picking off passes and taking them the other way!</p>
