JAMAL BARNES | 6’4 W | SSSAS
Barnes does a bit of everything for his team. He can defend and make shots from the perimeter, but most importantly is a leader. Barnes is a vocal presence on the floor who holds himself and others accountable. Every locker room needs a guy like him.
MONTELL COOPER | 6’1 G | GOOD COUNSEL
Cooper came out of nowhere and appears set for a breakout year. He’s a left-hander who is crafty around the basket and works hard on the defensive end. It will be interesting to see what Cooper can do with the momentum he’s creating.
TYLER HENDERSON | 5’9 PG | LC BIRD
Henderson is a true point guard who sets the tone on both ends of the court. He is a good defender, reliable playmaker, and underrated scorer who makes winning plays.
SESE MOBUTU | 6’2 G | BISHOP IRETON
Mobutu is a skilled combo guard who can shoot from the perimeter, score in the mid-range areas, and attack the basket effectively. He is a good athlete with solid defensive potential and versatility.
WILL PAIGE | 5’10 PG | PAUL VI
Paige always plays hard and competes at a high-level. He’s a relentless worker who is a menace defensively as a result of his quickness. Paige is much improved offensively and is a sneaky-good finisher in traffic despite his small stature.
JOHN WILSON | 5’10 PG | ST. JOHN’S
Wilson is one of the best point guards you will find that is still available in the DMV. The New York City native is still finding his way offensively but plays with great energy defensively. One thing Wilson does exceptionally well is breaking down the defense and getting into the paint.
