<p><em>MANASSAS, VA</em> – Osbourn Park and LC Bird faced off in a preseason scrimmage on Saturday, and Prep Hoops was in the gym to observe. The Skyhawks won all four quarters and impressed with their execution on both ends of the court. Here we breakdown the most intriguing prospects from this contest.</p> <p><strong>PROMYSE FERGUSON | LC BIRD ‘21</strong></p> <p><strong>Promyse Ferguson</strong> is a knockdown shooter on the wing. Every time the defense collapsed, he was available and ready to shoot. Ferguson hit a team-high five threes.<strong> </strong></p> <p><strong>TYLER HENDERSON | LC BIRD ‘20</strong></p> <p><strong>Tyler Henderson </strong>stood out early and often on both ends of the court. He’s a pure point guard who changes speeds well, gets in the paint and makes plays. Henderson got after it on the defensive end as well. He’s an active and alert help defender who applies good pressure on the ball and can stay in front with his quick feet.<strong> </strong></p> <p><strong>YURI MANNS | LC BIRD ‘23</strong></p> <p><strong>Yuri Manns </strong>is a lanky guard who looks to still be growing into his body and should only improve as his frame fills out. He can do a bit of everything. Manns is a capable shooter, a confident ball-handler, and a reliable playmaker.</p> <p><strong>PETER ODURO | OSBOURN PARK ‘21</strong></p> <p><strong>Peter Oduro </strong>is a budding post prospect with good size to go along with a high motor. He is a vocal presence defensively and is active on the boards. Oduro is also a good passer out of the post.</p> <p><strong>ETHAN WILSON | OSBOURN PARK ‘20</strong></p> <p><strong>Ethan Wilson </strong>is a skilled guard who can shoot with range off the dribble. He applies good pressure on the ball defensively and rebounds well from his position. Wilson is a capable playmaker in the half-court offense who attracts a ton of attention as a result of his scoring prowess.</p> <p><strong>AUBRIEL WINFIELD | LC BIRD ‘22 </strong></p> <p><strong>Aubriel Winfield </strong>is a long-limbed forward with intriguing long-term potential. He is adept at rebounding in traffic or out of his area because he has good hands and coordination. Winfield is a solid rim protector and team defender.<strong> </strong></p> <p><strong>RAHIM WONI | OSBOURN PARK ‘21</strong></p> <p><strong>Rahim Woni </strong>is an athletic slasher who is very crafty around the rim. One of his best attributes is his ability to rebound on either end. Woni is also a capable shot-blocker.</p>
