Conference Preview: DuPage Valley

<p>The high school season is almost here in the state of Illinois! With that we look at some of the top conferences throughout the state and some of the prospects in those conferences! Today it is the <strong>DuPage Valley</strong>!</p>

<p><strong>Preseason Player of Year</strong></p>
<p>John Poulakidas (Neuqua Valley)</p>
<p>Poulakidas is a top 10 junior with one of the most lethal jump shots in the state. The 6’5” lefty is money from three and pulling up with his feathery shot. Skilled player has really made strides as a ball handler and athlete over the last year which has allowed him to make such a big impact on the game.</p>

<p><strong>Preseason Conference Favorite</strong></p>
<p>Neuqua Valley has been pointing toward this year and next as their time to shine. With a core of three juniors in Poulakidas, Connor Davis, and Max Rivera they have perimeter firepower that can knock down shots. Watch out for sophomore Jayden Dean to make some noise as well. Waubonsie Valley has quite the 1-2 punch in Marcus Skeete and Ben Schwieger who are going to give opposing defenses nightmares! Naperville Central will look to get on track with Oakland commit Chris Conway and Cameron Doughtery. Size and athleticism to do damage!</p>
