Class Of 2022 Prospect Rankings Released
One thing is always true in the world of high school basketball: Coaches, fans, and players always anticipate prospect rankings. Prep Hoops Michigan recently released our rankings for the class of 2022. The list of players is full of college talent and potential at all levels. From the consensus #1 player in the country to the rising prospects later on the list, the prospects in the class of 2022 have it all.
Michigan’s class of 2022 has talent of all shapes and sizes. Emoni Bates (G/F, Ypsilanti Lincoln) and Ty Rodgers (SF, Grand Blanc) are elite basketball talents on a national scale. Bates is the consensus number 1 player in the country and has drawn comparisons to Kevin Durant while, in my opinion, Rodgers is a top 50 talent in the country.
JaVaughn Hannah (G, Mt. Clemens), Foster Loyer (G, Clarkston), and Kareem Rozier (G, Orchard Lake St. Mary’s) are very talented playmakers. Hannah is making a push as a top 100 prospect in the country while Rozier and Loyer continue to rise.
Players like Jack Karasinski (SF, Grand Rapids Catholic Central) and Kyler Vanderjagt (G/F, Northview) are top notch wing talents.
There are extrenely talented floor generals as well. Athletes like Orlando Lovejoy (PG, Summit Academy), Brady Titus (PG, Tri-Unity Christian), and Keegan Wasilk (PG, Clarkston) are prime examples of the point guard talent on the list of prospects.
