<p><strong style="font-size: 1rem; -webkit-tap-highlight-color: transparent; -webkit-text-size-adjust: 100%;">Corinth, Mississippi</strong><span style="font-size: 1rem; -webkit-tap-highlight-color: transparent; -webkit-text-size-adjust: 100%;"> – The second and final day of The Lighthouse Classic was just as big as day one and featured some of the top players in high school basketball.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 1rem; -webkit-tap-highlight-color: transparent; -webkit-text-size-adjust: 100%;">I was inside the gym at Corinth High School to watch teams from Tennessee and Mississippi.</span></p>
<p>Here are the best performers from day two of The Lighthouse Classic:</p>
<p><strong>Keon Johnson, Webb School</strong>: The senior point guard had 31 points, 14 rebounds, eight assists, three blocks and one steal in the Feet’s 71-57 win over Holly Springs. Johnson took home another MVP award honors. He was 12 for 19 from the field and turned the ball over only three times.</p>
<p><strong>JJ Platt, Webb School</strong>: The senior guard added 14 points, two rebounds, two steals and one assist in the Feet’s win over the Hawks.</p>
<p><strong>Derek Fountain, Holly Springs</strong>: Fountain finished with 17 points, nine rebounds, four steals, two assists and two blocks against Webb School.</p>
<p><strong>Samson Ruzhentsuv, Hamilton Heights</strong>: The 6-foot-7 wing had 18 points, 16 rebounds, five assists and one steal in the Hawks’ 64-61 win over West Oaks Academy to win the 2019 Lighthouse Classic Challenge Championship. The Florida commit was named MVP of the game.</p>
<p><strong>Bayron Matos, Hamilton Heights</strong>: The 6-9 forward finished with 12 points, 10 rebounds, one assist and one block in the win.</p>
<p><strong>Andersson Garcia, Hamilton Heights</strong>: The 6-7 wing had 11 points, 14 rebounds, four steals, two blocks and one assist for the Hawks.</p>
<p><strong>Reggie Bass, Hamilton Heights</strong>: The sophomore point guard had 15 points, three rebounds and three assists in his team’s win.</p>
<p><strong>Daeshun Ruffin, Callaway</strong>: The junior point guard had 35 points, six assists and five rebounds in the Chargers’ 83-72 win over Wooddale. Ruffin was named MVP of the game.</p>
<p><strong>Cuwandric Samuel, Callaway</strong>: Samuel had 13 points, eight rebounds, two assists, two steals and one block against the Cardinals.</p>
<p><strong>Keiveon Hunt, Callaway</strong>: Hunt added 20 points, five assists, three rebounds, one steal and one block in his team’s win.</p>
<p><strong>Johnathan Lawson, Wooddale</strong>: The junior guard/forward had 29 points, 16 rebounds, two steals and one block against Callaway.</p>
<p><strong>TeKeavion Rounds, Wooddale</strong>: Rounds had 17 points, six rebounds and three steals against the Chargers.</p>
<p><strong>Cameron Matthews, Olive Branch</strong>: The Mississippi State commit had 14 points, nine rebounds, six assists and two steals in the ‘Quistors’ 68-62 loss to the Ramsay Rams. Matthews was 6 of 12 from the field. </p>
