With the early signing period opening up on Wednesday it is a perfect time to examine who is still left on the board in the 2020 class. There are a ton of committed prospects, but still quality group of players that have not found their college homes yet. We will break each group down by position. Here are the Best Available 2020 Centers.

Devon House (Sterling Newman)

Overall Rank: #27

House is a wide bodied five man that anchors down on the block. He has a feel for scoring with his back to the basket with excellent footwork and touch on the block. Understands how to use his body to move defenders in the paint. Showcased improvement this summer with the Iowa Barnstormers stepping out to knock down a three on occasion. Rebounds very well in his area snatching them up.

Armond Williams (East St. Louis)

Overall Rank: #28

Long and lanky five man that has his best basketball ahead of him. Rim runner in transition getting a lot of scores sprinting the court for points. Has a decent low post game using hook shots for buckets. Defensively he is a gifted shot blocker that covers space with his quickness and mobility. Can switch in a ball screen and move his feet.

Brandon Lieb (Deerfield)

Overall Rank: #37

The 6’11” center shows soft touch and can score with his back to the basket in the post. Pick and pop threes on occasion. Very good as an offensive rebounder. His physical tools are intriguing at the next level.

Nate Seputis (Lincoln Way East)

Overall Rank: #47

Seputis regained some of his early career momentum in July with RWA. Liked the intensity he brought to the table especially on the glass. Rim protector and on occasion can hit a pick/pop three. Just has to be consistent.

Niles Arrington (Home School)

Overall Rank: #61

Home schooled post that has such a physically imposing body. He is a big time rebounder that snatches them out of the air with his strong hands and clears it going the other way.

Patrick Readye (East St. Louis)

Overall Rank: #65

Readye is one of those prospects we have been waiting to turn the corner for years. He has excellent size and strength, but the consistent production isn’t there. Still an upside play at the small college level.

Colin Crothers (Benet)

Overall Rank: #78

Crothers is a productive high school center that is crafty around the hoop and overpowers smaller defenders. Lacks athleticism and struggles against length. At the right D3 he should be effective.

Keydrian Jones (Collinsville)

Overall Rank: #97

Wide bodied five man that anchors inside. Not the best athlete he uses his mass and feel scoring around the hoop and rebounds pretty well.
