It was a Prep School tourney only with 25 different teams from players around the country and globally.
It was a 3-day event with many high level games.
Here were some of the juniors that stood out:
Maxwell Lewis SF 6’7 AZ Compass Prep
-High arcing 3pt shooter is one of those players who make eye popping plays in every game. Either a deep 3 from NBA range or his usual dunk high above the rim. He loves getting out on the break and can rip through with only one step and dunk the ball with his insane long strides.
Frankie Collins PG 6’1 AZ Compass Prep
-Super athletic pure PG who is mostly downhill and strong. He is very shifty and changes speeds well and shockingly athletic. He can survey a court and make others better. Good advanced passer and loves attacking the basket. One of the better guards at taking contact and scoring.
Kiran “Ky” Oliver W 6’4 PHH Prep
-High level athlete continues to impress each event. His motor is off the charts and plays every possession like its his last. Keeps improving his pull-up from the perimeter. He gets great elevation and it is starting to look better fundamentally. His activity on the glass is at a high level and is turning into an elite shot blocker. He moves his feet quickly and makes his opponent uncomfortable.
Isaac Spears PG 6’3 Bella Vista Prep
-A talented scoring lead guard with great speed. He is quick with the ball in his hands and can create separation with his handle and pull-up from mid to the 3pt line. He has deep range on his shot and is quick to defend his man. He can carry his team in many stretches.
Deiman Reyes PF 6’7 Veritas Prep
-High motored 4-man who rebounds like a mad man. Good athlete with a strong body/frame and long arms. Not super skilled but has a polished “go-to” right hand hook shot. He makes his money on the glass being physical and getting many rebounds out of his area. He dunks the ball easily and has upside.
Brett Hardt Jr CG 6’2 PHH Prep
-Highly skilled lefty has a nice stroke from deep. He is showing his toughness as he gets older with essentially a dislocated thumb yet played through the pain. He is a quick decision maker and comes with a high IQ. He makes good reads off the pick and roll or will just shoot the 3 or pull-up. He is slowly filling in and changes speeds smartly to get where he needs to go.

Handy Toussaint PF 6’8 Bella Vista Blue
-Long and athletic forward who is extremely active inside. Originally from Haiti and is a little raw but does things you can’t teach. He is very explosive when he rebounds or blocks shots. Catches lob dunks easily and the lefty can face-up from the perimeter. Will have to be more consistent but has a bright future.
Here was the top soph that stood out:
Lewis Duarte SG 6’5 Veritas Prep
-High flyer can jump and shoot it. He is a quick leaper and shoots it from deep easily. He defends his man at a high level. He loves getting downhill but sometimes he forces the issue.
