I’ll be naming the players who I think are the best overall scorers, not the best shooters. I’m talking about the kids who can go out and drop 20-30 any given night.
Sadraque Nganga 6’9 2022 F Hillcrest Prep
Sadraque has really impressed me this summer with his overall versatility. Speaking to his versatility, Sadraque can score the ball in many ways. First off, I think he brings the most value to the transition game. He is so big and fast, he really is a mismatch in the open court. In a half court setting, he can shoot the ball and can get to the rim using his athleticism.
Dylan Anderson 6’10 2022 F Perry
Anderson is a 6’10 big that can shoot the 3 ball, handle the rock, and has excellent post moves. How do you stop that? Anderson has the tools in his bag to give any defender a headache. Anderson’s biggest scoring attribute would be his shooting, this really allows Anderson to be more versatile and dangerous as a scorer.
Nate Pickens 6’1 2022 G Paradise Honors
Pickens is really smooth and cold. He never really looks rattled to me and seems confident, especially with the ball in his hands. He can and will pull his shot from anywhere past half court. When he decides to go to the basket, he is extremely tough to stop due to his speed and craftiness.
Andrew King 6’1 2022 G Desert Vista
King loves to run and gun! King play with so much pace to his game and shoots the ball at a matching pace. King has so much confidence in his shot and overall scoring ability. I love it! He can get hot in a hurry and man he’s special when he’s in one of those rhythms. King can also get to the rim with relative ease due to how fast he is.
