Let’s take a look at the top floor generals in the class of 2022:
Kareem Rozier (Orchard Lake St. Mary’s)
Prep Hoops Michigan Ranking: #4
Rozier is simply special. He’s young for a sophomore, but is one of the most hard nosed and gritty players in the class. Rozier has grwleat ball skills, keeping his dribble low and hard.
Keegan Wasilk (Clarkaton)
Prep Hoops Michigan Ranking: #9
Waslik continues the tradition of excellent point guards at Clarkston. He has great shot selection, recognizing high percentage scoring opportunities and knowing when to feed a teammate. Waslik can guide an offense at any pace.
Brady Titus (Tri-Unity Christian)
Prep Hoops Michigan Ranking: #10
I’ve said it a thousand times: This kid has D1 talent. He’s a smart player and is efficient with the ball. Titus is an attacking downhill defender and had range on beyond the 3 point line on his jumper.
Chansey Willis (Detroit King)
Prep Hoops Michigan Ranking: #11
Willis is yet another star perimeter player out of Detroit King. He’s a true 3 level scorer that can create for himself and his teammates. Willis was a key contributor on an experienced and deep backcourt for Detroit King last high school season.
Mason Docks (Williamston)
Prep Hoops Michigan Ranking: #12
Docks will be a big reason that Williamston has a very successful season in 2019-2020. On a team full of talent and stars, he is the floor general that ties it all together. Docks can score and dish with high efficiency.
Orlando Lovejoy (Summit Academy)
Prep Hoops Michigan Ranking: #16
Lovejoy has as much natural talent as anyone in the class. He was in the gym working on his game all spring and summer, and he’s ready to explode this season. Lovejoy is explosive offensively and could average 25+ points a game for Summit Academy.
