Brandon Schepel (6’0″, PG, Grand Rapids Christian)
Prep Hoops Michigan Ranking: #54
When watching Schepel, it’s obvious that he can run an offense as a floor leader. With his jumper, he also has to be respected as a scorer.
Thomas Dillard (6’2″, G/F, Kalamazoo Central)
Prep Hoops Michigan Ranking: #58
Dillard is a fine tuned athlete. He’s in great physical condition which allows him to play physical defense and run the floor even if he logs heavy minutes.
Aaron Rice (6’5″, F, North Farmington)
Prep Hoops Michigan Ranking: #61
Rice definitely passes the eye test for me. The size and skills are there, and he should mesh well with star point guard Justus Clark this season.
Maliq West (6’3″, SF, Benton Harbor)
Prep Hoops Michigan Ranking: #65
West is yet another athletic wing from Benton Harbor. He has good vertical speed and thrives in a fast game and an open floor.
Jorden Brooks (6’3″, SF, Grand Rapids Catholic Central)
Prep Hoops Michigan Ranking: #66
Brooks is a multi sport star and one of the top all around athletes in the class. He’s projected as a D1 football recruit, but he could be a 2 for 1 prospect someday.
Ashton Atwater (6’0″, G, Otsego)
Prep Hoops Michigan Ranking: #60
Atwater has steadily improved over the last year. I like how he adds versatility with his ability to play on or off the ball.
Ty Rykse (6’4″, SF, Schoolcraft)
Prep Hoops Michigan Ranking: #72
Ryske has all the tools. He has the size, ball skills, and a nice jumper. With continued development, Rykse will end up as a really nice get for a college coach.
Kobe Haglund (5’8″, PG, West Ottawa)
Prep Hoops Michigan Ranking: #80
Don’t let his height make you hesitate. The young man is gritty as can be and uses his height to his advantage. Haglund sees angles and openings for a pass and delivers.
Reichen Lund (6’0″, CG, Linden)
Prep Hoops Michigan Ranking: #83
Lund was one of the most improved players in the class over grassroots season. He’s confident in his game and his jumper has become a weapon.
Evan Doste (6’5″, F, Pewamo Westphalia)
Prep Hoops Michigan Ranking: #91
Droste is a high IQ player that just seems to have a knack for the game. His size and skill set make him very tough to match up against.
