Brown is a slick ball handler that can get downhill to the cup and is a capable three point shooter. Best winning off the dribble at this stage. He ran the show for the Southwest Jets 16U squad this spring and summer on the PrepHoops Circuit.
“It went very good. We played very good as a team. I got an offer from SEMO. It was a great summer for all of us.”
What are the strengths of his game at this stage?
“I think I can attack the basket well and mid-range pull up. I can improve on my three point shot.”
Brown made the move over to Belleville East after spending his first two years at Belleville Althoff. He is looking forward to a new team and conference.
“I think we will have a great season. It is a good conference with East St. Louis and Collinsville and Alton. It is going to be fun.”
He updated us on his early recruitment.
“I have an offer from SEMO. SIU-Edwardsville has been giving me some looks. Coach Dana is setting up some visits for me in the fall.”
What stands out about SEMO?
“It is close to home and a great environment.”
Brown is the #37 overall prospect and #8 point guard in the current 2021 PHI Rankings.
